JN News 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 RAW The show began with RAW GM Eric Bischoff coming down to the ring, and announcing that Edge will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Chris Jericho on the next big RAW before Smackdown's next PPV. He also announced that tonight on RAW, the World Champion, Edge will team up with Tyson Tomko to face the team of Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit in the main event. Later, Todd Grisham is standing outside Edge's dressing room and is gonna try and get an interview with the champ. He knocked on the door, and Tyson Tomko answered. He says that Edge is busy, right now. Todd still asks for an interview with the champion. Finally, Tomko has enough, grabs Todd, and drags him into Edge's dressing room, near the shower stall. Tyson says, "Hey Champ, you wanna do an interview? This little twerp wants an interview with ya." Edge slips out a cuss word that gets bleeped, slips his head through the curtain space, and says, "Oh, you want a damn interview, huh? You want an interview, idiot? Here, just slip this goddamn mic through the curtain, and you'll get your interview, asshole." Tyson told him to slip the mic the curtain, and he did it. What Grisham got was the sound of Miss Jackie moaning & screaming for more. Edge is overheard saying, "Here's your (bleep)ing interview, right here, jackass!" Main Event Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho def. Edge & Tyson Tomko when both Jericho & Benoit made Edge tap out to both the crossface & the liontamer. Edge & Jericho continued to build up their title feud, leading into the next big RAW. When that night came, Edge defeated Chris Jericho to retain the World Heavyweight Title, again with Tyson Tomko interferring, and Jericho putting him in the Liontamer, and Edge attacking him from behind, and giving him the Edgecution DDT for the victory. Chris Benoit came into the ring, attacked Edge, and made the champion tap out to the crossface. The following week, it was announced by Eric Bischoff that Edge will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Benoit & Jericho in a triple threat match at the Survivor Series. Meanwhile, on Smackdown! HHH returned after a long absence to continue his feud with Eddie Guererro. JN News 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 Survior Series main events World Heavyweight Championship Edge defeated Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho by pinning Jericho after hitting the Edgecution to retain the title. Tomko had interferred to isolate Benoit, allowing Edge to get the win. WWF Championship Eddie Guererro def. Triple H by submission with the Laso From El Paso. A great 30 minute match that saw HHH kick out of the frogsplash. HHH tapped out clean to Eddie's submission move. A happy ending to close the PPV. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JN News 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2004 RAW The show starts off with the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge coming down to the ring, accompanied by his 4 girlfriends & bodygaurd, Tyson Tomko. Edge got on the stick, and boasted and bragged about his big victory, last night at Survivor Series. He then goes on to say that he's untouchable and unbeatable. This brings out HBK who basically challenges Edge to a title match at RAW's next PPV, Armeggeddon. Bischoff came out, and joined the World Champion, Edge in the ring. Eric told Shawn that he would have to earn a title shot tonight if he wants to face Edge. He then declared that there will be a mini-tournement tonight with 3 matches. HBK vs. Kane & Jericho vs. Benoit, and the winners of those 2 matches will face each other in the main event, later tonight Shawn Michaels def. Kane Chris Jericho def. Chris Benoit Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho to earn a World Title shot against Edge at RAW's Armeggeddon PPV, next month. Edge came out after the match, and knocked Shawn out with his title belt. Edge and HBK continued to build up their feud, leading into the next RAW PPV. On the last RAW before the PPV, HBK pinned Edge in a tag team match that also consisted of Kane and the newfound babyface of RAW, Randy Orton. At RAW's Armeggeddon, Edge defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the title after Tomko interferred, allowing Edge to knock out HBK with the title belt to get the easy victory. JN News 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2004 Smackdown! WWF Champion, Eddie Guererro came to the ring to start off the show. Eddie gloated over his victory over HHH, last sunday at Survivor Series, and how he made Hunter tap out. This brought out Triple H & Stephanie to respond. HHH got sarenaded by "you tapped out" chants from the crown. HHH told Eddie that he just got lucky, last sunday. But, it won't happen again, and next time, he guarantees that the next time they meet, he WILL become the next WWF Champion. Stephanie grabbed the mic from her husband, and ordered Eddie to defend the WWF Title tonight against JBL in a final confrontation match. She also makes a #1 contenders match between Kurt Angle vs. Triple H. The winner of that match will get a title shot on the next big Smackdown show before the next RAW PPV. She then wishes Eddie good luck, because he'll need it. Kurt Angle and Triple H battled to a no contest when both men were counted out by the referee when both men spend 10 seconds beating the hell out of each other outside the ring. Stephanie came out, and ruled that both men will get the title shot, and it will be a triple threat match for the WWF Title. WWF Championship Eddie Guererro def. John "Bradshaw" Layfield with the frogsplash to retain the title despite interferrence from Paul E. Dangerousley who tried to bust his cellphone over Eddie's head, but hit JBL instead, allowing Eddie to get the victory. HHH came in, and attacked Eddie, afterwards. This also brought out Kurt Angle to attack HHH & Eddie, signifying that it will be every man for himself in the 3-way dance. In the weeks that followed, the 3 men built up their title feud, leading into the 3-way title match on the next big Smackdown show. When that night came......... WWF Championship - Triple Threat Match Triple H def. Eddie Guererro and Kurt Angle to regain the title by pinning Guererro after executing the pedigree on Eddie, and getting the pinfall. JBL & The Dudleyz interferred, and attacked Kurt Angle outside the ring while Stephanie had the ref distracted. This allowed Paul E. Dangerousley to nail Eddie in the back of the head with his cellphone, just as Eddie was about to give Hunter the "Triple Verticle" suplexes, and that allowed HHH to pedigree Eddie, and win the title. JN News 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2004 RAW Chris Benoit defeats Randy Orton to earn a title shot at Edge for the World Heavyweight Title at the Royal Rumble. After the match, Edge & Tyson Tomko storm into the ring, & attack Benoit until Jericho comes in, and makes the save for his friend. Jericho gets on the mic, and announces that he will be in the Rumble match. Later, Todd Grisham tries to interview the World Champion, Edge. But, the champ refuses, and tells Todd to bug off. He then goes back into his dressing room. In the following weeks, Edge & Benoit build up their World Title feud, leading into the next joint PPV, the Royal Rumble. JN News 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2004 Smackdown! The new WWF Champion, Triple H comes down to the ring with Stephanie, and the rest of the New Dangerous Alliance. Paul E. Dangerousley gets on the mic first, and insults all the fans, and says that his names just happens to be, Paul E. Dangerousley. He then introduces the New Dangerous Alliance, lead by the new WWF Champion, HHH. Hunter gets on the mic, and gloats about becoming a 7-time WWF Champion, tieing himself with The Rock. He then runs down Guererro & Angle, until Kurt Angle comes out, and challenges HHH to a title match at the Royal Rumble. HHH accepts, but only under one condition, and that is, Kurt must put his career on the line at the PPV. Angle agrees, and the match is made. WWF Championship Triple H def. Eddie Guererro in a rematch for the title with the pedigree. Afterwards, Kurt Angle came out and attacked The Game, until the new DA arrived, and pulled him out of the ring. JN News 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2004 Royal Rumble WWF Championship Triple H defeated Kurt Angle with the pedigree to retain the title, and end Angle's career. Kurt recieves a loud, standing ovaition as he leaves. World Heavyweight Championship Chris Benoit defeated Edge to regain the title by pinfall when Tomko nailed Edge in the head with the title belt on accident. Also, Rob Van Dam defeats Booker T to earn a WWF Title shot against HHH at Wrestlemania 21. Chris Benoit defeated Edge again to retain the World Title on the next big RAW before Smackdown's PPV. Chris Benoit to win the title by reversing the crossface into a pinfall combination. Another 30 minute wrestling classic.
