The Man in Blak Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 I think they should simply stop putting team logos on hats. I'd agree with this except in the case where a person spends their entire career with one team. Which, thanks to the modern era of free agency, is likely to never happen again.

It didn't happen as much as we'd like to remember.
Bored Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 It's also kinda silly to say it will never happen again when you have examples of George Brett, Robin Yount, and Cal Ripken who all played in the free agent era. Also you have Barry Larkin now and even a Jeff Bagwell, who debuted in the 90's, who will both likely finish their entire career with one team. Edit: Less I forget Tony Gwynn, another player of free agent era, and Bagwell's teammate Craig Biggio.
