Mole 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Just because they haven't given Summerslam a bigger build up in the past, doesn't mean they couldn't have done it this summer.

Kaertos 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I and my PPV buddies have already said that come October, we are going to need to decide which PPV to order. All quality issues aside, it's just too damned expensive to buy 2 PPV's a month at $35 a pop. Now, putting the quality issue aside again and looking at this from a pure "what I can afford" perspective, I would be cooler with this if they lowered the price of the "split" PPV's to like $20 or $25. Heck, still charge the $35 or even $40 for SummerSlam, Survivor Series and the Rumble (and the $50 or whatever for Mania) but give us loyalists a break on the other 8 months if they go for the full 20 PPV's a year plan. Now, thinking about quality again, I'd say keep it like it is. The Big 4, SD gets 4 and Raw gets 4.
