(Due out in November) Jimmy Hart : The Mouth of the South Jimmy's career in music, Memphis wrestling, WWF, WCW and XWF should be a excellent read. Nikita shows you how. This book is not about professional wrestling--it’s way better than that! Sure, there are plenty of behind-the-scenes stories from the wild, surreal world of pro wrestling, but Nikita shows you how you can learn from these stories and examples and use them to build your own success. He dreamed of becoming a professional football player, but a twist of fate brought him to wrestling when he badly broke his leg playing the game he loved. While rehabilitating at Jesse Ventura’s gym, he earned his shot at wrestling glory—as a star with the National Wrestling Alliance. The rest is history. Koloff became one of the country’s most famous wrestlers, eventually retiring in 1992 as the World Heavyweight Champion. After his wrestling career ended, Koloff took the lessons he learned in the ring and applied them to the other aspects of his life—achieving new successes as a youth minister, a professional speaker, and a successful entrepreneur. Wrestling with Success distills the life lessons Koloff learned while overcoming challenge after challenge to find the success he dreamed of as a child. These lessons serve as inspiration and motivation for anyone who wants to reach their goals, and shows the importance of hard work, faith, mental toughness, and a willingness to take risks. He shows readers how to prepare themselves for any challenge—in sports, in business, or in their personal lives—and succeed spectacularly. Guest TheJewof2001 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 Race's book looks better than Harts. Then again, I'd rather read about Race.

Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 I pre-ordered Harley Race's book. The man was God in his peak (which was like 30 years). I've read and listened to countless interviews and Harley Race is a real down-to-eath, classy guy. I can't wait to read about his times with Dory Funk Jr., Jack Brisco (I also bought Brisco's book, excellent), Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Larry Hennig, etc.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 I'm fairly certain Jimmy Hart is one of those guys who never has a bad thing to say about anyone, as he just kisses ass a considerable amount of the time. Could be an interesting read for funny stories, but there's no way he'll be trashing anyone, as Harley Race's book has the potential to do.
