Vanhalen Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Received this email today from Channel Five, at last, we will be able to watch Monday Night Football, live in the UK, is it a good show? I am glad to tell you that five have recently signed a deal with the NFL that means we will be showing all the Monday Night games LIVE, preceeded by our results programme, NFL Update and once the baseball World Series has reached its climaz, then Sunday night football will also be live each week. We are disapointed as you obviously are, that five will not be carrying any post season play but we look forward to bringing you the very best regualar season scheldule.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Channel 5 always showed Monday Night Football...just on a Tuesday. It will be the same show, only live.
Guest Flyboy Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Meh. When I clicked this thread, I thought you referring to changes to the secondary and such. I demand a refund.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 I actually thought same as Flyboy and kkk... ...that's kinda funny to say together. Flyboy and kkk Anyways just so nobody else is disappointed, the officials are suppose to throw more interference flags after the physical play of both Super Bowl teams' secondaries.
Slayer Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 That means Brits can watch MNF at 2AM on Tuesday morning? Rockin'
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 I thought this was going to mention the talks of moving Monday Night football on ABC to Sunday and Sunday Night Football on ESPN to Monday.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Yeah, pass interference is going to be all over the place the first few weeks since the secondary can't even touch the receiver anymore. Stupid rule change if you ask me.
