That said, I'd like to see them step up the intensity this week on Smackdown.  This is the go home show, and IMO the most important show for selling people on the PPV.

Very good point. If they do a good show here, it could do a lot for this feud.

I'd like to see Eddie talk about how he got to Kurt by selling his stuff, but thats just the tip of the iceberg, because he's been holding in his anger for Summerslam, where he's going to "tear Angle apart

Honestly, I think the time for that type of interview was two weeks ago, when they decided to do the powder segment instead. This week is best served by using alot of violence.

Could they pick up the intensity? Forsure, but is that really what the people want to see?

It was working it February and March.

Then again, I knew it would be lackluster for months. For the entire time that Angle was GM, he should have been making it hell for Eddie. Not RVD, not Cena, but Eddie. He should have been focusing all of his energy on making Eddie pay, then having Eddie just barely making it out alive much to the delight of fans, untill FINALLY, Angle pulls a fast one one Angle.

Agreed. While Kurt was GM, Cena/Angle was built *way* more than Angle/Eddie. Yeah, he did screw him out of the title at JD, but seeing Angle/Cena in a skit, or Cena/Angle mentioning each other in promos or segments was much more common than with Eddie/Angle. If they were always planning on Eddie/Angle, more focus of Angle's evil GM should have gone to Eddie.

I think they were trying to build to an eventual Luther/Cena program via Angle.

Well that's just stupid. Angle could have just said "That Cena kid annoys me. Luther, take care of him."

Instead, we get Angle screwing over Cena week in and week out, while pretty much ignoring Eddie until the PPV and Cage match.

They probably felt the need to give Luther more of a reason to hate him.

Why? Does he have a better reason now? Oh boy, he got put through a wall. Man, he must want to KILL Cena now!

Even if all the Angle/Cena buildup was only to lead into a Cena/Luther feud, how come Cena's not feuding with him now? He's having a will-this-feud-ever-end thing with Booker.

Well, it originally would have started as Angle's vendetta, with Luther taking a professional interest, and seguing into Luther's personal problem.
