"The Secret Of The Ooze" Update & PWG DVD's now shipping!

By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer

Hermosa Beach, CA - Making it to Japan is one of the biggest goals a professional wrestler can have in their career, but once there, much like the Chinese Opium the Chinamen are so famous for, Japan can become addicting. Therefore, due to commitments in Japan, American Dragon will be unable to attend and compete at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) "The Secret Of The Ooze" on August 14. When PWG Commissioner Paul T. heard about this, he first thought American Dragon was addicted to opium, and went on a 25 minute rant about how "we should have never hired that strung out junkie" in the first place." Then he heard it was Japan, not opium, which was forcing American Dragon to miss the show, to which Paul T. was overheard saying "I guess that cracka ain't so bad. Now who's gonna fight Samoa Joe on the 14th?"

After many hours of work in the PWG "War Room," which looks surprisingly similar to a 1967 Volkswagen Bus parked near a prime surfing location, Paul T. decided that a dream match must become a reality. A match that has been teased for nearly 3 years now must take place. Fans all over Southern California, the United States, and the world have been eagerly awaiting this match. The one man who would fill the shoes of American Dragon will be... Sexy Chino!!? After shouting "Sexy Chino!" for 10 minutes, Commissioner T., in an act fitting of his position and rank here at PWG, promptly passed out. When he came to, he realized that perhaps his fellow Korean, Sexy Chino, would not be right for that match, and changed it to Samoa Joe vs. Super Dragon.

The line up for "The Secret Of The Ooze" is now:

PWG Championship Title Match

"The Future" Frankie Kazarian © vs. "Classic" Colt Cabana

Super Mania Dream Match

Samoa Joe vs. Super Dragon

CM Punk vs. Ricky Reyes

Josh Prohibition vs. Puma

"Photogenic" Chris Bosh vs. Joey Ryan

With the Southern California return of Donovan Morgan, plus Apollo Kahn, Brad Bradley, Babi Slymm, & more scheduled to appear!

Also, fans who have pre-ordered any of the DVD's recently added to www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com will be happy to hear that the DVD's are now in stock, and will be shipping this week. "The Musical," "Kee_ The _ee Out Of Our _ool!," "88 Miles Per Hour," and "Taste The Radness" will also be available this weekend at finer pro wrestling events across Southern California for only $15 each.

Well hell, that's what they call making the best out of a bad situation.

They can still do Joe/Dragon down the road. Joe versus the OTHER Dragon should be fantastic.

Christ I go away for a few days and everything changes. I was just preparing to post my preview of the show. I guess I'll have to rewrite a bunch of it now... :( Yay more work for me!

But on the extreme bright side SAMOA JOE VS. SUPER DRAGON is a freaking dream match. And should be alot more unique than JOE Vs. AD would have been. I really can't wait for that one...

With Amdrag off the show this match is going to have to deliver...but I really think that it will. Both guys are just so great at working the crowd, they should be really into it.

If only Ricky Reyes was Rocky Romero...

Joe vs Either Dragon will be awesome, so I'm perfectly fine with the switch, especially since I've seen Joe vs Danielson plenty of times, but have never seen Joe vs Super Dragon.

I say, despite the lack of Danielson goodness on the show, the change was for the better!
