Dark Age 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2004 If you know were to look...some stores may have it half price or even 50 % off... Or maybe it'll be a quarter off. Maybe 25%. I dislike you all for ignoring this/these posts.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2004 Has anybody considered that if this box set is legit, the replica belt might be one of those cheesy $12 plastic and foam replicas rather than one of the expensive $300 replicas? Except it distinctly says "full size replica Championship belt", but it's fake so it doesn't matter.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Iggy, using, "they included X, but not Y, so it must be fake" reasoning is so bogus. Actually, I wasn't doing that at all, if you actually read the post. I was saying that if they were just picking and choosing matches, they would have absolutely left Over the Edge out to avoid the controversy. The PPV where someone dies can't be considered a "highlight" match unless they want to be accused of profiting off of Owen's death. The Angle/Austin comment was completely superfluous to my point. I was just saying that after I'd shown it was fake, I felt like pointing out that the guy was a dumbass for leaving Austin/Angle at SS out of his list. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 What really disproves this rumor is the inclusion of the Over the Edge match. The only way they'd ever possibly consider using that match is if they were including every single title change in WWE history. Given that there are title changes that aren't on there, the Over the Edge match is absolutely wrong for any WWE set. Also, whoever the fuckshit was that put that listing together didn't include Austin/Angle from SS 2001. What the hell is that about? I must say that I liked Austin/Angle a lot more than Austin/Rock from WM that year, and it also made SS the best PPV that year over X-7, for me at least. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 I agree with you. Austin/Angle did own Austin/Rock. And SS was the better PPV. Still, why even have this silly thread when it hasn't been discussed? Haven't we learned from previous pre-mature DVD talk?
