Well, I got one of those Raw Version 2 Big Gold titles with the WWE logo on it. My question is ever since I got it I noticed two very tiny hairline cracks on the border material of the fake leather strap. (Not on the strap itself). I got a good deal on the belt and only paid $150 for it. I've been to a few other sites that talks about releathering belts. Which is putting the plates on a real leather strap; the only problem is its anywhere from $130-200 from guys who do leather work. I've seen pics of their work and it looks like they do an awesome job. I'm tempted to maybe do this but I don't know if I can justifiably spend that much extra to get real leather for two minor, hairline cracks. What would you guys do?

I wouldn't. I'm assuming you bought it for souvenir purposes, and I doubt the cracks will get bigger or anything without you wearing it. And even if they do, it's not like you're wearing it out in public...I hope.

Yeah, its just for souvenir purposes. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it out in public. :D

If I had one of those belts I WOULD WEAR IT IN PUBLIC and demand people announce me as the world champion whenever I walked into a room lol

This is coming from the guy who made his own "CONSPIRACY VICTIM" sign with the arrow pointing down in when Jericho was doing the same in WCW.

I carried it around in high school and especially after I got a bad grade or something.

I used to be embarrased about being a fan, but as I got older I just didn't care.

But those belts are far too expensive. (however I would bei neterested in the million dollar belt replica previously discussed on this forum or one of the old school ic belts - which is my fav belt of all time)
