Guest HartFan86 Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 I know Owen, Yoko, Gordon Solie, Andre, for a few. I'm just wondering if you could all post people you remember passing away and getting acknowledged by the WWF in the past. I also remember one of the Dunn family members who passed away. He was one of the people than are a huge family name in WWF.

I would think WcW did one also since he worked for them at the time.
Guest Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 I dont think they ever mentinoed Yoko. Did they put a picture up? They had a small video package in the beginning of the show for Yokosuna. I remember, Undertaker was wearing a Yoko T-Shirt in his match that night.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 I dont think they ever mentinoed Yoko. Did they put a picture up? Yes, I remember them putting a picture of Yoko up.

Nah I heard them mention Yokozuna. think there was a video too, but I've been watching WM's 9 through 11 in the last couple days, so it might just be my memory
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 they mentioned rude and did a package of yoko
Guest Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 And who are the Dunns? Kevin Dunn is the WWF's producer I think. I believe his father also worked for the WWF and that is why they did a tribute to him. Also, I remember WCW at least doing a tribute to Rick Rude. When Yokozuna died, they didn't do an on-screen graphic, but Mark Madden mentioned him in his commentary during a match.
Guest Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 WcW also showed Class by mentioning Owen Hart's death. Madden also mentioned Bruno's Death...Errr..never mind.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 The one Haas brother (I forget his name)

Guest Mik at Cornell Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 WWF definitely did a tribute to Rude.
