As for Freddy coming back folks...

*Spoiler if you haven't seen FvJ*

If you remember when Freddy gets stabbed with his own arm by Jason... Mr. Voorhees passes out in the water. Freddy then of course gets his head cut off. Now although Freddy has been killed in the outside world twice... where does he always end up? That's right, back as the dream god. If you notice at the end there, Jason is carrying Freddy's head... what many may have not noticed is... he is dreaming. Remember when Freddy got inside his head to find out what scares him... and Jason is dragging that body through the foggy swamp, proceeding to take it to a house and stick in the closet with all the other bodies. He's carrying Freddy's head through that same swamp. When Freddy winked at the camera, that was the sign that he'll be back. Now of course, if it's the beginning of the next movie, Freddy probably won't be able to possess Jason right off the bat... so maybe he'll (Jason) wake up, leading for Freddy to look for some more victims in anguish. and maybe learn about how the Necromicon gave Jason his powers(to go with the one Mrs. Voorhees suggestion).

The Ash plot and everything else would tie nicely into that.

Freddy should not try possessing Jason again. If anything, Freddy should possess Ash (or whoever they choose), because that way Freddy is still his own man, but has someone else doing his work for him. Of course, after that it's going to be a little hard to fantasy think because I don't know Ash's background, and can't rent the movies because of a problem I mentioned on the last page.

There was a blip about this in Entertainment Weekly that caught my eye. It said the typical stuff like "Sam Raimi in discussions with New Line to add Ash from the Evil Dead (first played by Bruce Campbell) to a Freddy vs. Jason sequel."

The part that bothered me was the "first played by Bruce Campbell" part. You don't think they would seriously cast someone else as Ash do you? If they do, God help em...the backlash would be crazy from horror fans.

I always HATED the "It was a dream" excuse.

it wouldn't really be it was a dream, Fred did get his head cut off, it is just he was invading Jason's dream at the end once again.

There's no way they would. I doubt Raimi would allow them to use the character without forcing them to use his buddy Bruce.

And god bless Sam for it. Ash NOT played by Bruce Campbell doesn't work, at all. It just doesn't.

Although the flip side is perhaps Bruce doesn't WANT to be Ash anymore and suggested the part go to someone else if it happens. If that is true, then this film can go to "Jason goes to Hell".

Jim Carrey as Ash...Bruce Campbell is pretty much the cult Jim Carrey, so it could work. But there's no way it happens. Campbell deserves to be part of Ash's big mainstream movie debut.

Jeffrey Combs of Re-Animator fame showing up would be great, but Dr. Herbert West wouldn't work as a fight opponent.

We have to save Puppet Master for the Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys film.

Bloody-Disgusting has put up the treatment that was proposed for Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash.

Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash treatment

In my opinion, the treatment was pretty much perfect. It ties in elements from all three franchises and explains the ending to Freddy vs. Jason.

Man, that was really sweet. It's too bad they're not doing that anymore in favor of a Tarantino directed Friday the 13th. I'll still go see it, but it'll always nag at me that it's not Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash. :(

That movie would've ruled all kinds of ass.

It tells me that's a bad link when I click on the movie poster.

Anyways are we even going to get a Freddy vs. Jason 2 now?

It should open as a .pdf file when you click on the poster. Do you have Adobe Acrobat on your computer?
