Guest Leon Report post Posted August 20, 2004 Why don't they ever say world wrestling entertainment champion ? AND NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT CHAMPION!!! Sounds funny, doesn't it?
Kizzo 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2004 Well they could have thought of a new name...it wouldnt' hurt anything...since it wasn't doing so great in 2002 anyway...that could have been a rebranding year...where they try to get adjusted with the name...and branding....and they had a brand split as well durign that time... That year could have covered everything...new name...new company...new creative team...new attitude...new vision..
Guest syncer55 Report post Posted August 20, 2004 They could have gotten a new name, but it would have probably costed him more trouble than just chaning one word and letter.

Rock-Austin at Wrestlemania, just HORRIBLE business................... And it seems that the 'other' WWF didn't give a rat's ass about it, until it became more popular. They're not exactly innocent here either. Why don't they ever say world wrestling entertainment champion ? WWE champion Eddie Guerrero or JBL works for me, it's close enough to the original. But to turn that around, whoever referred to Ricky Steamboat, Sting, or Ric Flair as the National Wrestling Alliance/World Championship Wrestling champion? WWE is still a lame name I say. I guess it's said than done. What name would some of you guys come up with? I wondered why the wwf just didn't go with wwfe(which is what it was called really) or even go back to World Wide Wrestling Federation. If it's legal I would have done that just to screw with the Pandas.
