Eight terror suspects arrested in raids across England two weeks ago have now been charged.

Possessing a reconnaissance plan of the Prudential Building in New Jersey.

Possessing reconnaissance plans of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, the stock exchange and Citigroup, both in New York, and two notebooks with information on explosives, poisons, chemicals and related matters.

 

MOHAMMED NAVEED BHATTI, 24, OF HARROW, MIDDLESEX

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

ABDUL AZIZ JALIL, 31, OF LUTON, BEDFORDSHIRE

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

 

OMAR ABDUL REHMAN, 20, OF BUSHEY, HERTFORDSHIRE

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

 

JUNADE FEROZE, 28, OF BLACKBURN, LANCASHIRE

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

 

ZIA UL HAQ, 25, OF PADDINGTON, LONDON

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

 

QAISAR SHAFFI, 25, OF WILLESDEN, LONDON

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

Possessing an extract of the Terrorist's Handbook containing information on the preparation of chemicals, explosive recipes and other information about explosives

 

NADEEM TARMOHAMMED, 26, OF WILLESDEN, LONDON

Conspiracy to murder.

Conspiracy to commit a public nuisance by the use of radioactive materials, toxic gases, chemicals and or explosives.

Possessing a reconnaissance plan of the Prudential Building in New Jersey.

The eight men will appear in custody at Bow Street Magistrates Court, sitting at Belmarsh prison, south-east London, on Wednesday.

 

 

A ninth man, Matthew Monks, 32, of Sudbury, London, is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
