Lesser known indy TV commentator joins...

Recommended Posts

According to the CTChampionshipWrestling.com web site (CCW is the promotion he works for), a guy by the name of Chris DeJoseph has joined WWE as a member of the production team, or something like that. Chris is the backstage interviewer of New England Pro Wrestling TV (which obviously - judging by the name - airs in selected parts of New England), which kinda confuses me why he's being hired as a production guy, but hey, that's cool. I talked to Chris briefly at an indy show a few months back and he's a nice guy. Most interestingly, he's pretty comfortable in front of the mic, which again makes me wonder why he's doing something on the production side of things, but I guess he has a hidden talent or something. Chris was being hyped as the host of a new CCW TV show that was in the works to start airing solely in Connecticut in a couple of weeks, but whatever happens with that it's good to hear that a guy from my home state is making an impact on wrestling. What's interesting is that on the last few editions of NEPW TV, promoter Joe LaChance has been hinting that one of CCW's stars was in talks with WWE, even going so far as to have a camera film him going into the Hartford Civic Center a few weeks ago at Vengeance in order to discuss some "business with Mr. McMahon." So, I guess Chris was the mystery guy being referred to. CCW's Jeff "The Hungryman" Harris had a one-night gig as Spike Dudley's manager on a WWE house show in Bridgeport, CT about a month ago. Chris doesn't have an official site, but Jeff does - TheHungryman.com. So, ya - just figured I'd pass this along.

I'm shocked they hired someone with a wrestling background.

Yeah, we want another copy of Mark Lloyd and Todd Grisham.

Don't forget Todd Pettengill, Michael Cole, John Matthews, and Chris Leary.

Who the fuck is Chris Leary?

Josh Matthews worked Indy wrestling shows in Indiana for about 2 years even before tough enough. He's a smart Mark too. If you watch Byte This on some of the older shows he definitely let's that smark side come out when discussing matches.

But the topper is Mark Fucking Lloyd. If I ever saw that guy in public I would not hesitate to run him over. repeatedly. I hate him.

When MICHAEL FUCKING COLE makes jokes about you non-stop for an hour, it's time to hang yourself with your god damn headset cord.

Josh Matthews is the best of the lot, but he's not there because he knows his shit, he's there because Kevin Dunn thinks he's pretty.

Cole has improved, yes, but four words:

"I like the pie!"

Say it like you're a giddy little schoolgirl and that's about as close as I can describe it. Oh God. I'm having flashbacks.
