Vanhalen 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2004 I have a laptop, that runs XP Pro, basically last night onwards, I cant get in, it loads perfectly fine, then comes the log in screen, Ive logged in with both my accounts, admin and general, and it logs in, before any icons/start menu appear, it logs me straight back out, has anyone ever heard of this before? redbaron29 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2004 Well without the XP disc you are kinda fucked when it comes to doin a system restore. It sounds like your OS isnt properly loading from startup. Thats gonna take a disc to fix. It doesnt even have to be a ligit copy...simply a copy of a restore disc as well a tag number. The only other thing it might be is a virus however I doubt that is the case. Not the solution you wanna hear, but none the less a solution. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
