Guest SoCalTF Report post Posted August 25, 2004 PWG's ''The Next Show'' Updates & New DVD Details By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer Montezuma, California - Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) Commissioner Paul T. was taken by surprise when the International Olympic Committee (IOC) sent a letter to the PWG offices. He was even more surprised when he read the letter, and found that the IOC was sick of American Dragon petitioning for Professional Wrestling to be recognized as an Olympic Sport. American Dragon, having beaten the best North America has to offer and now turning his attention to Japan, has been requesting that the IOC provide him with more international competition, because, as he so eloquently put it "I tire of their futile attempts to best me." The IOC however, is quite busy, and while they recognize American Dragon as a tremendous athlete, they have no plans on making Professional Wrestling an Olympic Sport before 2024. Therefore, to stop the deluge of letters, faxes, and communiques from American Dragon, the IOC has begged PWG, of all promotions, to provide American Dragon with an international competitor to "shut him up," according to IOC President Jacques Rogge. Because Commissioner Paul T. has deemed this show to be for the fans, he has changed around the line up in order to benefit both the fans and the International Olympic Committee. PWG's "The Next Show" will now feature: PWG Tag Team Championship Ladder Match - Winner Picks A New Partner Scott Lost vs. Joey Ryan Chris Hero vs. Super Dragon B-Boy, Homicide, & Bobby Quance vs. Puma, Ricky Reyes, & Rocky Romero American Dragon vs. UK Kid PWG Championship Match Frankie Kazarian © vs. Samoa Joe Plus Disco Machine, Quicksilver, Chris Bosh, Charles Mercury, Supa Badd, Human Tornado, Excalibur, Top Gun Talwar, and the Southern California return of Hook Bomberry! Please remember that the new bell time for the event is 7:00PM! Pro Wrestling Guerrilla returns to the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 7:00PM. PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2004 "OMFG" CHRIS HERO VS. SUPER DRAGON!!!! Huge mark out moment as they are my 2 favorite wrestlers going right now. Heck the last time my two favorite wrestlers at the time met so was probably when Hulk Hogan Met The Ultimate Warrior at WM6. Really really can't wait for that one.
