spman Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 I recently upgraded to Winamp 5.04 from whatever version I used to be using for god only knows what reason. Anyways, I hate it and it's crap, so which version of Winamp is the best to use? Or, better yet, what program other then Winamp would you suggest to play your MP3s. One major problem I've been having since I upgraded Winamp is that when I add a directory to my playlist, and I paly songs from there, it automatically plays the next MP3 in order after the last one finishes, and I can't figure out how to stop it from doing that. Anyone know?
Dace59 Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 The option is in Preferences, 'Manual Playlist Advance'. So the track will either loop if repeat is on, not stop. So you'll have to press play to get the next track (or a random one if shuffle is on)
Detox Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 if they play in order you may have loaded a m3u file,I wouldnt really recommend any other player because WinAmp is not a big resource hog on my system
