Tom Waits' "Downtown Train." The Rod Stewart version, which more people are probably familiar with, isn't all that different. Still, it sucks.

Blondie - Parallel Lines

"Pretty Baby"

it sucks though because it's on LP... I HATE vinyl, it's such a pain in the ass when the only receiver I have is the line in on my computer, which is stupid and puts in everything as mono unless the connections are LOOSE (not tight, when it's tight i'ts mono, but if I want stereo I have to fiddle around with loose connections, oh, and unplug my normal speakers!), which means every time I type or do something the connection gets screwed up and the sound cuts out! ARGH! Sorry for the vent there...

Sly & The Family Stone - Stand!

Track 2: "Don't Call Me Nigger, Whitey"

Judging from the title, I'd have figured this to be more direct with the lyrics.  It's not, but it's still a great song and funky as all hell, which is perhaps their way of forcing people to listen to what is otherwise a simple message when complex, political ranting in the lyrics wouldn't.
