Guest Posted June 10, 2002 Report Posted June 10, 2002 Goa Trance Psychadelic 2 -- "Mantra" I'm big on Sitar music lately.
Guest Human Fly Posted June 10, 2002 Report Posted June 10, 2002 Rage Against The Machine - Renegades This CD has grown on me a ton. I went about a year without listening to it, but now it's heavy in my rotation.
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted June 11, 2002 Report Posted June 11, 2002 that was their best cd IMO with battle of LA just a LITTLE bit better. Rage against the machine "The ghost of tom joad"
Guest AzkulKazul Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Darkest Hour - For the Soul of the Savior
Guest Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 DJ Krush Milight. This album totally ruled my summer of '97 and finding it used a couple days ago was a joy.
Guest Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Friends of Distinction -- "Grazing in the Grass(Can You Dig It)."

Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 Homegrown - "Surfer Girl" damn, I need to download some new songs or change my CDs
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 Goa Trance Psychadelic 2 -- "Mantra" I'm big on Sitar music lately. Dude, no way! I have this song too... actually I just flipped it on. I'm usually not a big fan of this type of trance music (gets too repetitive after a while and the tracks go on and on and on forever), but I've always loved the sitar, and found it after doing a search for "sitar" on Kazaa, since I don't know any sitar artists. Anyway... I'm listening to that song right now too
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 The Beastie Boys DVD anthology is on my TV in the background. To be more accurate, it's disc 2, Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun.
Guest Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 Evenflow, look up Ravi Shankar. Most famous sitar player ever(other than George Harrison, did he ever play the sitar himself?), they even had him on one of those Klassic Krusty episodes shown the summer Bart broke his leg. Anyways, I'm listening to "Boom Boom Boom" by the Outhere Brothers, the LAST thing I should be listening to when I'm trying to get sleepy again.
Guest Anorak Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 Rival Schools: So Down On Apart from the obvious example of the poster named ICPRivalschools does anyone else listen to this band?
Guest PlatypusFool Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 I usually like 'post-hardcore' bands like Rival Schools (or whatever they are labelled as) but their album is just really boring, I can't listen to it. Im listening to Enon - 'Natural Disaster', great new band.
Guest caboose Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 U2-Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me. Hold On, Winamp just randomly selected... ...Halo-Sanctimonious
Guest evenflowDDT Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 De La Soul - Three Feet High Track 7: "Ghetto Thang"
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 Beastie Boys " super disco breakin"
Guest Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 Brady Bunch -- "Time to Change" I just HAD to watch A Very Brady Sequel the other night on HBO Comedy, didn't I. (sings along)
Guest benoitrulz4life Posted June 14, 2002 Report Posted June 14, 2002 Holy SHIT, it's been a long time since I posted on this forum. February? One post on my count, seeing as how I've been in self-proclaimed exile from the forum since the SK days ended. This forum has really improved though to tell the truth. Gone are the days of bitching out Anglesault and the guy with the Ron Jeremy avatar. Anyway... I'm listening to New York Dolls, "Too Much, Too Soon". Can't get enough of the New York Dolls. Oh, and if anyone gives a shit Doomsault is my real-life brother. Yeah, I told him the name was gay too, but he declined to listen. Later dudes.
