Guest pearljamfan Posted May 1, 2002 Report Posted May 1, 2002 Pearl Jam Live at Soldier Field in Chicago bootleg-7/11/95
Guest Posted May 1, 2002 Report Posted May 1, 2002 I just bought Guns and Roses - Apetite For Destruction and Tenacious D the other day, both of which are pretty great CDs. I've also been listening to Metallica S&M, which I know is looked down on by a lot of purists around here....AC/DC Highway to Hell has been getting a lot of play, too.
Guest treble charged Posted May 2, 2002 Report Posted May 2, 2002 Default - Wasting My Time (God, I love that song)

Guest Human Fly Posted May 2, 2002 Report Posted May 2, 2002 "Days of the Week" - Stone Temple Pilots. The song is awesome but does anyone else think it sounds like a Wendy's commercial?
Guest treble charged Posted May 2, 2002 Report Posted May 2, 2002 Avril Lavigne - Complicated The video's on MuchMusic right now, and she's hot plus the songs not half-bad, so that's why I'm keeping it on. Now that that's over, here's Maren Ord. Cool, my friend chased her around downtown one time.
Guest The Voices In Your Head Posted May 2, 2002 Report Posted May 2, 2002 Right now, I'm listening to 5,000 Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flowing Through The Strip [is that the right title?] by Nirvana on Kazaa right now. Otherwise, the only band I really listen to CDs of is Nirvana.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 3, 2002 Report Posted May 3, 2002 ...And You Will Know us by the Trail of Dead, the whole album is playing but the specific song right now is "Heart in the Hand of the Matter".
Guest Kinetic Posted May 3, 2002 Report Posted May 3, 2002 ...And You Will Know us by the Trail of Dead, the whole album is playing but the specific song right now is "Heart in the Hand of the Matter". Is it growing on you? That's a great song, by the way. "How Near How Far" is my personal favorite on the album. I'd start a ...Trail of Dead thread, but I sense that it would die a quick and shameful death.

Is it growing on you? That's a great song, by the way. "How Near How Far" is my personal favorite on the album. I'd start a ...Trail of Dead thread, but I sense that it would die a quick and shameful death. Yea, remember the thread I started on them with a whopping two replies? While at first I wasn't too big on it, you're right in that it is starting to grow on me. I'm starting to pick out some of the lushness and feeling in the heaviness, although I still can't really get a lot of it. Actually this may or may not be surprising, but I'm still having a lot of trouble making out the lyrics. I've noticed I run into this problem a lot with indie/garage rock, which might be part of the reason I prefer simpler music. Is it just me, or is it a defined aspect of the genre to have vocals like that? Ooops... ignoring the thread, maybe I should've posted that in my old ...And You Shall Know us by the Trail of Dead thread. Right now? I'm listening to the Tajiri v. Kidman match. Not exactly music, but... well... I heard the ring themes.
Guest crandamaniac Posted May 3, 2002 Report Posted May 3, 2002 just got done listening to Nas "Stillmatic" and The Spider-man Soundtrack
Guest Kinetic Posted May 3, 2002 Report Posted May 3, 2002 The Clash-s/t. I think it's the American version. Whichever has "White Man In Hammersmith Palais"on it. I think "Clash City Rockers" is my favorite opening song on any album ever.
