Guest Anorak Posted July 20, 2002 Report Posted July 20, 2002 Goblin - "Suspiria" That was some creepy music in that film. I'm listening to 'Weird Tales' by Golden Smog at the moment and 'Please Tell My Brother' is one of my favourite Jeff Tweedy tracks. Its quiet and low key but perfect.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 21, 2002 Report Posted July 21, 2002 Goblin - "Suspiria" That was some creepy music in that film. Yea, that was a freaky ass score. Next time I'm at the used CD store, I'll look for the whole thing. Has Goblin done anything else of note? I think they've done some other horror scores, possibly even for Dario Argento. Anyway, lest this become a forum for discussion instead of listing what you're listening to... Damned - "Smash it Up". The Offspring did a karaoke-cover of this on the Batman Forever soundtrack a few years ago, but there's nothing like the original.
Guest M Nyland Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Less Than Jake - History of a Boring Town
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Less Than Jake - History of a Boring Town I love that song... I think I'll listen to it too. And after it ends I'll put on Ozzy's "Crazy Train".

Guest La Parka Es Mi Papa Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Right now I'm listening to The Clash's Should I Stay Or Should I Go?
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Aphex Twin - Neverending Story (remix) It's listenable, and at parts even danceable, but I like the Neverending Story remix from DDR much better.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 Cocoa Brovaz - "Super Brooklyn (instrumental)" The Mario Bros. beat! It r0x0rs!
Guest Incandenza Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 I just finished listening to the Hives' Veni Vidi Vicious for the first time. Though it's only 28 minutes long, my attention was waning after 15. Not a good sign.
Guest AzkulKazul Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 My Dying Bride - The Deepest of All Hearts
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 Beck - "Dirty Dirty" Goofy little Beck Midnite Vultures outtake/b-side. Anyone heard any of his new material yet? They're streaming it at beck.com I think.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 North House - "Bought and Sold" What, am I the only one who uses this thread anymore? Decent song from a band housed in Harvard... or at least was in 2000. They probably dropped out or graduated by now
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 "Write It On Your Hand" - The Marvelous 3 "My Extraordinary Mind" - No Fun At All
Guest Alice_In_Chains_Chick Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Alice in Chains- Love, Hate, Love
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 "Write It On Your Hand" - The Marvelous 3 wh00! Marvelous 3! Anyway, what am I listening to right now: Del the Funky Homosapien - "If You Must (instrumental)" just ended... so I put on Fleetwood Mac's "Jigsaw Puzzle Blues", 'cuz it's an instrumental kind of moment
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I really like that version of "Tainted Love" and I'm actually listening to "A Whole New World" ...from Aladdin
Guest The Man in Blak Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I just finished listening to the Hives' Veni Vidi Vicious for the first time. Though it's only 28 minutes long, my attention was waning after 15. Not a good sign. I find myself thinking the exact same thing with a lot of the "garage rock" stuff. Even White Blood Cells doesn't do much for me once it gets past "The Union Forever". For the moment, though, my musical tunage is equal parts: Freddie King Black Label Society Godspeed You Black Emperor Secret Machines Jerry Cantrell
