Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 4, 2002 Report Posted May 4, 2002 I'm playing a 5-track vinyl sampler from the compilation Iron Curtain Revisited. Only problem is since I have no real receiver I have to plug my record player into line-in, and because I had to use a bunch of radio shack plugs to enable that, the end result is its in mono Nice record so far though.

Guest muzanisa Posted May 4, 2002 Report Posted May 4, 2002 Shuggie Otis - Inspiration Information. Which is very good.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted May 4, 2002 Report Posted May 4, 2002 stag by melvins. It is one of the greatest albums ever made.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 4, 2002 Report Posted May 4, 2002 Greenwheel's Soma Holiday. The specific song is track 9, "Disappear". Pretty generic stuff, but better than most generic stuff.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted May 4, 2002 Report Posted May 4, 2002 Sentenced - "No More Beating As One" If any of you can find it, try to find 4th Realm - "Untitled (Hmmm...maybe Broken?)". It's the working title of the song, I just called it "Broken," but it's a fucking mint-ass instrumental metal tune.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 5, 2002 Report Posted May 5, 2002 Trying to make Kinetic hate this thread less... hmmmm... I could put back on my Blur B-sides CDR... umm... how about The Clash - "Should I Stay or Should I Go"? I just downloaded it. Not as cool as the other Clash I've downloaded, "Police and Thieves", but cool enough for now.
Guest Flyboy Posted May 5, 2002 Report Posted May 5, 2002 I hate this thread. Why? Oh, and Metallica's The Unforgiven II.
Guest Kinetic Posted May 5, 2002 Report Posted May 5, 2002 Trying to make Kinetic hate this thread less... hmmmm... I could put back on my Blur B-sides CDR... umm... how about The Clash - "Should I Stay or Should I Go"? I just downloaded it. Not as cool as the other Clash I've downloaded, "Police and Thieves", but cool enough for now. I don't know that "Police and Thieves" is enough to help me ignore the inherent pointlessness in posting what you're listening to and not saying anything about it, but it's a start. I hear Blur's B-sides are pretty bad, actually. I was thinking about Blur today, for whatever reason, and I realized that I don't really like any of their albums from beginning to end. Their singles are great and each album usually has a half dozen strong non-single tracks, but they couldn't seem to hold it together for a whole album. My favorite is probably 13, but even that gets a little tedious in spots. Thoughts?
Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 Afrika Bambaata - Renegades of Funk Oh, and for Kinetic, about Blur b-sides, the only Blur I really know are the b-sides on the CD I have, "Coffee and TV", and of course, "Song 2". They're not bad songs at all, especially as far as b-sides come along.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 Del tha Funkee Homosapien - "Dr. Bombay"
