Guest Incandenza Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 "Dead Disnee"--El-P One time, while listening to this particular track, a friend of mine walked into the room. Brandishing a bag of Fritos and some pungent dip, he listened to the track a bit, and said "This song is assaulting my senses. Much like this bean dip." True story.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 The 'live from camp X-ray' LP by RFTC, who I think could be the most consistently brilliant band on earth at the moment.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 20, 2003 Report Posted January 20, 2003 Alice in Chains-Grind I think their self-titled album is overlooked a lot. It's not on the same level as Dirt or Facelift, but it's still an excellent cd. They're definitely the best band to come out of seattle. I'd also say Layne Staley's one of the best vocalists ever. The vocals are amazing on all of their albums, and are very consistent, which is pretty amazing considering the amount of drugs Staley was on.
