Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Cursive, "Art Is Hard." Cute little fuck-you to goth/mope culture, with fun violins. On deck: Tom Waits, "Earth Died Screaming." Bust that vocal chord, Tommy. Bust it.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 The Smiths, "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out." I seriously need to buy some of these albums. Yes. All of em. DEVO - 'jocko homo' are we not men?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Interpol, "The Specialist." Great song, and better than most of the stuff off the already awesome Turn On The Bright Lights. I have no idea why they didn't include this, though; it's one of their most dynamic pieces, and a personal favorite of mine.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 "Edweena"--The Residents from the mix CD I mentioned on the last page Do you have their Duck Stab cd? Killer shit, that. Right now it's The Mothers of Invention-Help! I'm a rock.
Guest Incandenza Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 No, all I have is the mix. I definitely need to get some of their full lengths; the Hank Williams cover, "Six More Miles to the Graveyard," is extraordinary.
