Downhome 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2004 I just went to Ingles, and I got the following for $5 EACH. They are all in their original cases, with all inserts (if a DVD has one to begin with). Heck, some of these DVDs still had the security strips on the case on the side and top and bottom. If you have an Ingles grocery store with a video store inside, you should really go check it out. They've had $5 DVDs for a while now, but never a selection quite like what I'm now seeing. By the way, I live in SC so I don't know if this grocery store is just down here in the south east or not. I just thought I'd let you guys know about this, if you didn't already. They also have a boatload of $7.99-$9.99 used DVDs for the new releases. Anyway, here is what I picked up today for $5 each. Downhome 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2004 More than likely, but every one that I've ever purchased has been in absolute mint condition, no stickers, no scratches, nothing like that.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted August 30, 2004 The Station Agent Blech. You actually liked that movie? The premise seemed good but god the execution was absolutely terrible. I won't ridicule your choice since everyone has their preferences I guess, but what gives DH?
Downhome 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2004 Yeah I really liked it, I thought it was an excellent film. Most critics liked it also, what with it having a 98% and a 100% rating at RottenTomatoes and then an 8.1 score at IMDB. To be honest with you, you are the first person I've ever had tell me that they hated it, heh.
