PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2004 Hello TSM! Mmm I had no clue thread to put this in... so I just thought I'd give it's own thread. Anyway, here's the 12th edition in my "PWG Thoughts and Predictions" series! Enjoy! Just a reminder... you can also find this preview at the wonderful http://www.paradisecityninjas.bravehost.com So check it out, they have alot of great reviews and whatnot there as well. check it out Coming off PWG's last show, we were left with several unaswered questions. Which I will now run down for you: - Just who will Joey Ryan or Scott Lost choose as their new championship partner? - Can anyone stop Samoa Joe's reign of terror? - How high is up? - What does the newly formed "First Family" (Kazarian, Babi Slymm, Brad Bradley and Mr. Vanderpyle) stable have in store for PWG? - How would Super Dragon rebound from his crushing defeat at the hands of Samoa Joe? - Have we truly seen the last of Adam Pearce in PWG? - Who put the bop in the bop-she-bop-she-bop? - What was with the post match altercation between Disco Machine and Excalibur? Is there problem within SBS? - Is Disco Machine really finished with the stable of Top Gun Talwar, Charles Mercury and Chris Bosh? - Do you think atheists ever purchase insurance for "acts of God"? - Will Top Gun Talwar and Chuck Mercury ever get a win in PWG? - Can Superman out run the Flash? - Was Tony Danza... truly the boss? - And lastly why do people like Applejacks when they don't taste like real apples? It boggles the mind... but it's just lucky for us, that the answers to most of these questions and more will finally be revealed on September 4th 2004 as PWG presents their next show entitled "The Next Show!" Now let's cut this jibba jabba and run down the matches! Special Attraction American Dragon vs. UK Kid Previously on "The Days Of Our Guerrilla": At "A Reason for the Season" American Dragon teamed with Christopher Daniels to defeat Samoa Joe and Ricky Reyes in heated tag team grudge match. In which American Dragon finally got a measure of revenge on Ricky Reyes (who sneak attacked him back at "The Musical") So with Reyes out of the picture, Dragon was finally set to settle his score with Samoa Joe in Super No Limit Grudge Match on 8/14/04 but had to pull out due to pressing commitments in Japan. Now he enters the "Next Show" as a late addition, and finds that his rivals Samoa Joe and The Havana Pitbulls are both already booked in important matches. While nothing comes between American Dragon and his Calvins, prior bookings however will come between Dragon and his shot at revenge this time out. So he will just have to take it out on an international challenger, in the form of Cliff from the International House Of Pancakes! Oh but that's before the show, during the show he'll have to wrestle some dude named the UK Kid. Little is known about him and judging from the "UK" in his name I'm guessing he's a student from the University of Kentucky or something.... Kidding! The UK Kid is actually a very accomplished wrestler from England! And like American Dragon, he was trained at the very respected Shawn Michaels' Texas Wrestling Academy! So should prove to be a formidable foe for The American Dragon! So forget about the Olympics, we've got the UK Vs. America right here in PWG! Alert Reuters! PWG records: American Dragon is 6-2-1 overall and The UK Kid will be making his PWG debut at the show. Thoughts: I'll begin with yet another analogy; the UK Kid is to SoCal what Weird Al Yankovic is to the music business. No they didn't both record the song "Taco Grande" I mean they both seem to come around once every year or so and make you say to yourself "Oh yeah... that guy" then they disappear right back where they came from (Lather Rinse Repeat). But whenever they do come around... you always end being glad they did (except in the case of Weird Al's somewhat awful "Alapalooza" album that is) While I've only seen UK Kid in two matches or so. Both of those matches impressed me. UK Kid Vs. Joey Ryan from GSCW in Oct. 2002 most of all. Kid was working that crowd like he owned them! He's a very effective heel from what I've seen. I don't know maybe it's something about his British accent that really makes the crowds react to him and want to throw his stinking tea into the harbor! But whatever it is, it seems to work. All his antics really seemed to bring out the best in Joey Ryan. So much in fact, that I recall reading that Joey lists that match as one of his all time favorites matches. So what happens when you mix him with American Dragon? Well the same thing that happens when you mix anyone with American Dragon, you a get an awesome match. Plus factor in that they both came from the same wrestling school and should both be out to do their alumni proud. I'd expect a fun match here, and just smell that international flavor... kind of smells minty. My Prediction: In the case of this match, American Dragon should just change his name to Parker Lewis.... because he can't lose! I mean just think about it, it's an American DRAGON vs. a mere KID from the UK! How's that for expert prognostication eh? 6-Man Grudge Match B-Boy, Homicide, & Bobby Quance vs. Puma, Ricky Reyes, & Rocky Romero The Habana Brothers Band: Behind The Music! This is the story of four men, who came from nowhere to capture America’s heart and blossomed into a global wide sensation. Now we take a look at the trials & tribulations surrounding one of music's most talented groups. This is "The Habana Brothers Band": Behind the music. Ricky Reyes, Rocky Romero, PUMA & Bobby "Rocko" Quance, although each of them were acclaimed artists before they initially formed the group. It was only after they all started jamming at the internationally renowned "Inoki Dojo: House of Blues" in Santa Monica, CA that it all came together. After a few note worthy shows stateside, the band was soon touted as "the next big next thing in rock" The group was in such high demand that they soon landed a series international tours in Mexico (with CMLL) and later Japan (with NJPW) Just when things seemed at their apex, a scandal rocked the band to it's very core, after a May 2003 Rolling Stone article exposed the fact that the Habana Brothers were indeed... not actually brothers. Undaunted the band and its fans soldiered on... The Habana Brother Band seemed to relish this life of rock n' roll excess they led and everything seemed well... that is until they entered the rock n' roll halls of PWG... At first they were set to make an immediate impact on PWG as a unit. As PWG had inked the group to Co-Headline their inaugural show in July 2003... but due to scheduling conflicts and the fact that Reyes had suffered a serious shoulder injury, the performance had to be canceled! The group then had some time apart and decided to focus on their individual careers. In time they all eventually made their way in to PWG as solo acts, "The TJ PERKINS THREE" hit the scene in Oct. 03, The genre deifying "DIRTY DANCING 2: HAVANA PITBULLS" debuted in Dec. 03 and " 'ROCKIN' ROCKO' Quance" first rocked the guerrilla in Feb 04. It seemed that after many months apart, the band was finally back together! Or so we may have thought! The first signs of dissension within the band accured after Ricky Reyes had joined up with legendary SoCal rap mogul Samoa Joe at PWG's "The Musical" to attack Classically trained music virtuoso American Dragon (a man who in part trained Bobby Quance) with a double team sonic blast of white noise! The next month at PWG's "44 Ways To Kill You with Pimento" Rock and Peace Festival. Quance took up this issue with Reyes on the stage. While Ricky ended up defeating Quance in what seemed to be a mostly frendly jam session. Afterward things turned ugly, the two got into a shoving match (perhaps over Reyes' treatment of American Dragon the gig prior) During which Quance was overheard saying, "What happened to you man? It used to be about the music!" Band member PUMA then came down to ringside to interject between his fellow Habana Brothers. But then out of nowhere, PUMA launched a cover version of the HBK classic "Sweet Chin Music" right to the face of Bobby Quance! PUMA and Reyes then proceeded to double-team the fallen "Rockin' Rocko" The once calm and stable, Habana Brothers Band appeared to have turned into the chaotic Guns N' Roses! With the Izzy Stradlin (Reyes) and Duff McKagen (PUMA) of the group appearing to be kicking the SLASH (Quance) out of the band! (you don't even want to know what they did to the Steven "Popcorn" Adler of the group!) What was the issue here? Why couldn't everyone just mellow out? and just what would the Axl Rose (Rocky Romero, who was off doing a concert tour in Japan) of the group have to say about this apon his return? At the next PWG's next mega music event "Rocktoberfest" Quance met PUMA in a heated battle of the bands. But PUMA must have hit a wrong note as Quance was able to put him away with his signature power cord known as the "Shooting Star Press" And it appeared as if a little bit of heavy metal justice had been served. When it came time for PWG's big Woodstock-esque anniversary gig, Quance had no choice but to pull out... as he was offered an invitation to jam with one with the best known rock festivals around, CZW's "Best of the Best 4" in the hard rockin' city known as Philadelphia. Where he made an even bigger name for himself, and impressed so much he was even voted "the most rockiness rocker to ever rock" by the hard to please Philly metal heads! Meanwhile, back at the band's old PWG stomping grounds, The Habana Brothers band front man Rocky Romero made his long awaited return to the PWG stage in a losing albeit impressive effort against the Christian metal stylings of international rock star, AJ Styles. But later in the gig, long time band member Ricky Reyes and new band member Samoa Joe had to face off with a Jam Band popular in Japan but making it's American debut as performing unit, Daniels & Danielson! After being upset by D&D, Reyes, Samoa Joe and PUMA started administering an off key musical assault on their enemies! Just then front man Rocky Romero hit the ring! Just where did he stand? At first it appeared that he was fed up with the band and siding with Daniels & Danielson.. But he then revealed his true colors by attacking Danielson! Romero had indeed joined this new revamped version of the band now dubbed "The Dangerous Players and Oates" (Note: Oates later kicked out of the group due to lack of talent) It appeared as if nothing could stop this new super group. Or could it? Quance who had another concert date with CZW on the date of PWG's next concert. Quance decided to make the best of his new CZW surroundings and recruit some musicians out of the CZW touring acts to help him deal with the new rock super group that was "The Dangers Players, Seals and Croft" He decided to pick a team of hardcore gangsta rappers that had previously won PWG's Tango and Cash... B-Boy and Homicide! Now with the lineups finalized, The new musical combination of Quance, B-Boy and Homicide will square off with Quance's former band mates Rocky Romero, Ricky Reyes & PUMA on September 4th in a PWG rock n' roll extravaganza not to be missed! The very future of modern music may depend on the outcome! PWG Overall records: Homicide is 4-1, B-Boy is 7-3, Bobby Quance is 2-3, Ricky Reyes is 6-3, Rocky Romero is 4-2 and PUMA is 9-3 Past History? A great deal of it here... Of course Pitbulls/PUMA/Quance have loads of history B-Boy/Homicide are a semi-regular tag team with PWG/IWA:MS and other feds B-Boy and Bobby Quance have actually teamed before in 2002 as part of the "Golden Gate Invitational" B-Boy and PUMA have had a long history and many matches before. B-Boy & Ricky Reyes had a few memorable meetings in the past in such feds as RevPro, MPW and maybe UPW Homicide (w/B-Boy) fought PUMA in the 2nd round of the PWG Tango and Cash. Homicide while never in a match against the Pitbulls before is actually stable mates with them in ROH (I bet maybe 3 of you didn't already know that) Thoughts: What really needs to be said here? On one side you have the well-seasoned unit of The Havana Pitbulls & PUMA, who've had many outstanding 6-man tags in Mexico with CMLL and are among the top wrestling talent currently in the world. On the other side you have Bobby Quance, Homicide and B-Boy, probably three of the most talented indy wrestlers going today. Yep, as you can probably tell this one is pretty self-explanatory. So there is really no need for me to keep throwing superlatives around here. I'd expect nothing short of an amazing 6-man clinic in this one. Prediction: Havana Pitbulls & PUMA PWG Tag Team Championship Ladder Match - Winner Picks A New Partner Scott Lost vs. Joey Ryan Burden of dreams: the X-Foundation's saga!: The date: 11/25/01. "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was casting it's spell at the box office, Screen legend and star of TV's "Fantasy Island" Ricardo Montalban turned 81, a older and wiser Martin Lawrence taught us all how to laugh again (without the aid of Sheneneh) in Black Knight and the world was still doing it's best to outcome the terrible atrocity that was Michael Jackson's "Invincible" album. But most importantly it was on that date that Joey Ryan and Scott Lost teamed up for the very first time and a team was born. First the team came to be known as the New Lost Boys and then in November 2002 it officially became known as the X-Foundation (with 3rd member Funky Billy Kim). In no time flat SoCal's Super friends Joey Ryan and Scott Lost had become the talk of the tag team scene! In fact, they completely took over the scene, one promotion at a time (be it in MPW, UPW, RevPro, AWS, APW-LA/GSCW, EPIC, WCWA or PCW) wherever they went they found near instant success and shot to immediate tag title contention. The pair went on to become one of the most decorated tag teams in the history of West Coast Indy wrestling by capturing tag titles in such promotions as CWA, PCW, WCWA and AWS as well as winning the award for the 2002 SoCal Tag Team of the year. By the time March 2004 rolled around, all seemed right in the world of the X-Foundation. They had just won the PWG Tag Titles over the seemingly unbeatable B-Boy & Homicide, they were the 2 survivors of the Guerrilla Games match at "88 Miles Per Hour", the TV series Smallville was still going strong and they were set for what seemed to be a cake walk of a match against a team they'd beaten twice before, Chris Bosh & Quicksilver. Yes, the X-Foundation's future was so bright they had to wear shades. That is until.... IT HAPPENED! The Match?: X-Foundation Vs. Chris Bosh and Quicksilver The event?: PWG's Kee_ The _ee out of our _ool The Place?: The Santa Ana Elks Lodge The Date?: March 27th 2004 The Time?: Uh, around 10 PMish PST The atmosphere? It was slightly humid, the Santa Ana winds were blowing due east, Jupiter was aligned with Pluto; the moon was in the seventh.... The point?: I'm getting to it "IT" was the shot heard around the PWG world, as Scott Lost had accidentally super kicked Joey Ryan, and ended costing them out only a sure victory and PWG Tag titles, but perhaps their all important trust in one another as well. Disgusted, Joey Ryan walked out on Scott Lost. It appeared that the halcyon days of The X-Foundation were now at an end. The dissension between them, continued to grow at PWG's next show "The Musical" as the complete X-Foundation triumvirate (Ryan, Lost, FBK) took on The Thomaselli Brothers. It seemed to be another sure fire victory for the Foundation as Ryan had Vito Thomaselli set up for for The X-Foundation's Extinction Agenda finisher (a back breaker/flying elbow drop combo) but Lost choose to dive outside the ring onto Sal and Brandon in order to save FBK who was being double teamed, rather than complete the move and get the sure win. This give Vito enough time to recover and plant Joey with the Sicilian Driver (Aka Rubix cube, Joker Driver ETC) and steal the victory! After the match both Ryan & Lost exchanged words and it was clear to all that there was indeed... trouble in paradise (or Santa Ana) so to speak. At the next event, The X-Foundation seemed to be a cohesive unit once again, as they were able to defeat the crafty Ballard Brothers with only one minimal insident (Lost accidentally hit Ryan with a plancha) This was a very important victory for the Foundation as it earned them an opportunity at recapturing the PWG tag titles they had lost 2 months prior. The X-Foundation looked to be finally back on track.... The next month at "Rocktober Fest" The X-Foundation met Super Dragon & Excalibur for the PWG tag titles. The problems began early as Super Dragon quickly knocked Joey Ryan cold with a psycho driver. Leaving Scott all alone against the champs. And went Lost finally reached for the tag... Joey wasn't there for him. So Lost ended up taking all that SBS had to give (including the dreaded Curb Stomp) Later in the match Lost was finally able to tag in the still dazed Joey Ryan. The X-Foundation looked to have regained control. That is until Ryan went to tag Scott Lost... and Lost refused. Earlier in the match, Joey wasn't there for Scott... now Scott wasn't there for Joey. Much to the crowd's dismay, Scott Lost had walked out on Joey and the team (A Moment captured perfectly right here: http://www.shanesphotos.com/wrestling/gall...images/0707.jpg ) Now with a 2-1 advantage, SBS got cocky and instead of pinning the beaten down Joey Ryan. They tried to inflict even more punishment. Excalibur applied a surfboard on Ryan, while SD went upstairs to try an inverted 450. But somehow Ryan reversed Excalibur's hold and rolled him up for the 1-2-3 and the PWG tag team titles! Afterward Scott Lost returned to the ring and met Joey Ryan with a cheap shot for good measure, and claimed his half of the titles. After that night, the X-Foundation was no more (and if you are into bad puns you could call them The EX-Foundation!) R.I.P. 11-25-01 to 6-19-04 This heated issue finally came to a head at PWG's "A Reason for the season" supershow as Scott Lost and Joey Ryan faced each other one on one to settle this score. However with both of them knowing the other so well... it was like a mirror match. They knew the counters for everything the other would attempt. They even resorted to mimicking the others signature moves to try to gain an advantage. In the end after an intense 20 plus minute encounter.... Scott Lost had ad merged the victor after finally making Ryan submit to the sharpshooter. Lost had won the battle, but the war was far from over. The PWG tag team title issue still had to be settled. It was clear that these two could no longer function as a unit. So in order to determine which hold get possession of the tag titles, PWG commissioner and avid surfer Paul T. ordered these two bitter foes to square off in a ladder match. In which the winner will get to select his new PWG Tag Team championship partner! So on September 4th, The X-Foundation's saga will finally reach it's climax and the PWG tag team landscape will never be the same... again. PWG Singles records: Joey Ryan is 4-3 and Scott Lost is 1-1 (the one win coming over Ryan in July) My Thoughts: I'm REALLY looking forward to this one. I thought their last PWG match was very good and told a fantastic story (Yeah I read mixed reviews of it online, but IMO it'll finally get the praise it deserves when it's released on DVD) And now with a ladder involved... I can't even fathom how great this one could be. Also consider that PWG just doesn't go throwing "gimmick" matches around for the hell of it either, when they do one... it always means something. These two aren't new to ladder matches either, Scott Lost had an excellent Ladder Match with Lil Cholo at GSCW's "Proving Grounds" in March 2003 and Joey Ryan is no stranger to ladders either after competing in the brutal Guerilla Warfare match with Super Dragon at PWG's "An Inch Longer Than Average" which saw a ladder come in to play. Plus consider that this will be Scott Lost's first match back after spending the last month with Osaka Pro over Japan. Who knows what new tricks he could have up his sleeve. Also what about their potential new championship partners? Could they factor into the match somehow? Overall, I think this one has a ton of potential and it just could steal the entire show. My Prediction?: Scott Lost (and I predict that he will select Chris Bosh as his new tag partner) First Time Ever Dream Match! Chris Hero vs. Super Dragon When last we left our heroes! At the last show Super Dragon, the Scott Farkus of PWG suffered perhaps his most convincing defeat to date at the hands of Samoa Joe. But Samoa Joe made one huge mistake... he didn't finish the job. Now Super Dragon is back and more pissed off than ever. This time in order for SD to get back on the winning track, he must overcome yet another mammoth challenge in the form of CHRIS HERO! Who is considered to be, one of the most acclaimed wrestlers on the planet. Both men will really have their work cut out for them here. Chris Hero as most already know, has wrestled all over the world (20 different states and 6 different countries) including England, Germany, Switzerland and Milwaukee. So he's been everywhere, seen everything, probably wrestled nearly everyone there is to face and learned everything there is to learn in the business (Fun Fact: Hero wrestled an incredible 152 matches in 2003 alone! That's more than most wrestle in their entire careers) but I dare say he's never faced anything quite like the vicious onslaught that only an angry Super Dragon can deliver! Super Dragon, while he's never been to Germany or Milwaukee... He has been to yo mama sucka! And has also just completely dominated the West Coast Indy scene for years now (Just check the stats: 2 time SoCal Wrestler of the year awards, 3 SoCal match of the year awards and was name SoCal Wrestler of the month an amazing 14+ times!) SD has conquered almost every obstacle thrown in his path. But... I dare say that he's never faced anyone as learned in the business as Chris Hero. Will SD be able to overcome the incredibly well seasoned attack of Chris Hero? The dream match is set, September 4th at PWG's "The Next Show" it's The Hero Vs. The Dragon... and this one ain't no fairy tale. Overall PWG records: Super Dragon is 15-5 and Chris Hero is 2-1 My Thoughts?: To be honest, I was giddy as a 13 year old girl learning that N'Sync (or whatever crappy band the kid's like nowadays) was in town, when I first heard this match was added to the show. This one has so much potential it's scary... why you ask? Well beside the fact that they are both phenomenal workers. They have also had some terrific matches with the same opponents in the past, CM Punk, B-Boy, Samoa Joe, Colt Cabana & American Dragon Bryan Danielson for examples. They match up against each other quite nicely as well. They are both very hard hitting, they both have an excellent mastery of submission holds. They both can take to the air if need be. Also Hero is the master of the of hundreds of versions of the cravate. SD is the host for many a violence party! Chris Hero has many versions of Hero’s Welcome and The Hero Sandwich. Dragon has the curb stomp and the three versions of dreaded Psycho Driver. So on paper this one appears to be dead even… Overall, really I think this one is worth double the price of admission alone. Expect something to remember here…. My Prediction?: Super Dragon (furthering Chris Hero's losing streak in 1st time ever Dream Matches) perhaps setting up a rematch with Samoa Joe in the near future. PWG Championship Match Frankie Kazarian © vs. Samoa Joe Last time on MacGyver! At "The Secret Of The Ooze" Colt Cabana took the PWG champion Frankie Kazarian to his limit and nearly came away with the all the bananas. If not for Cabana's manager Mr. Vanderpyle "mistakenly" tripping him up, giving Frankie the opening he needed to plant "The Wave of the Future" and win the match. Then out of nowhere Brad Bradley and Babi Slymm hit the ring and attacked the fallen Cabana! Soon after Frankie and Vanderpyle joined in on the assault! It had been a set up all along! The new factions stood in triumph over their foe and proclaimed themselves "The First Family" of PWG and announced that they would no longer be taken lightly. Now with all his enemies taken out and with new allies by his side, Frankie Kazarian looks to be unstoppable. Christopher Daniels, Spanky, AJ Styles, American Dragon, Hardkore Kidd, Adam Pearce, Colt Cabana, Joey Ryan and many others have all tried and all ultimately failed to take out Kazarian in PWG.... so what makes Samoa Joe think he's any different? Samoa Joe's story: Samoa Joe earned this title shot by doing something no man had ever been able to do before. He slayed the Super Dragon (another man who looked to be unstoppable in PWG) This wasn't just a mere victory either, Joe got the W in perhaps the most humbling way possible, by beating SD so severely that he was unable to return to the ring by the 20 count. Samoa Joe had now ad merged as the man to beat in PWG. So it's no surprise that now Samoa Joe, already the ROH World title holder is looking to further establish his nation wide dominance by adding PWG's top prize to his collection! But in order to accomplish that goal... he'll have to go through the nearly unbeatable Frankie Kazarian. Now the match is set, Frankie Kazarian Vs. Samoa Joe. Perhaps PWG's two most unstoppable forces will collide. On September 4th something has got to give. Past History?: They have met a few times in the past in promotions such as UPW. But to date their most notable match accured in the 2001 APW King of the Indies tourney, where Joe defeated Frankie by submission in an excellent opening round contest. PWG records: Samoa Joe is 5-1-1 in singles matches (The lost by way of DQ) and Frankie Kazarian is a very impressive 13-3-1 overall (Including a victory over the one man Samoa Joe has never been able to beat in SoCal, American Dragon) Thoughts: I just got done watching their 2001 APW match a little while ago and thought it was a very good albeit short match. And just think of how much these two have improved since then... it's incredible. Now with it on a larger stage and given more time... I think we'll see something special here. This will be a very monumental match not only in ring but also in terms of PWG storylines. I expect something major to spring out of this match. Maybe a Samoa Joe encounter with American or Super Dragon, Maybe Adam Pearce will return to get payback on Frankie and Vanderpyle? And what about Joe and Frankie's respective PWG stables? Will they play apart in the match? And what about Scarecrow's brain? All and all, I truly believe people will be talking about this one after it's all said and done. Prediction: Tough choice, I got to go with Frankie Kazarian. I don't see him losing the title this soon. Also set to appear: SBS' Excalibur & Disco Machine, The AXP's Quicksilver! Revolution Pro Heavyweight champion Chris Bosh! The Bollywood Bombshells Charles Mercury & Top Gun Talwar! Supa Badd! Human Tornado! Los Rojos Locos! Big Babbi Slymm! and Brad Bradley! But wait... that's not all! Not wanting to be outdone by the recent cinematic return of beloved 70's super dog BENJI. PWG has announced a big return of it's own! HOOK BOMBERRY! A long awaited return to say the least as Bomberry was on the fast track to success in PWG before a broken leg took him out of action for nearly a year. Now he should be looking to make up for lost time and make an impact in a hurry. So take that Benji! ya damn mutt! My prediction on what else could be added to the card? : Well, on the flyer that leaked out, it listed Excalibur/Disco Vs. The AXP as being on the card, but it now looks like that match (and Scorpio Sky) have been removed. So here are just some guesses of what else PWG may have in store for us: Top Gun/Mercury Vs. Los Rojos Locos, SBS Vs. Tornado/Supa Badd (in what could be a comedy classic), Quicksilver Vs. Hook Bomberry, Chris Bosh Vs. Quicksilver, Or maybe an 8/6-man tag of some sort. But hey you never know what to expect from PWG! In the past we've seen surprise debuts from the likes of CM Punk, Teddy Hart and Steve Corino... so who know just who or what PWG has up it's sleeves! There you go, this in my opinion, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s 2nd most stacked card to date (Behind “a Reason for the Season”) all of the announced matches have the potential to end up stealing the whole show. So if you live ANYWHERE near the Los Angeles area, please do yourself a favor and come check this out. Bring friends! If you don't have any friends... umm well quickly make some before Sept. 4th and bring them! Yeah I know it’s on Labor Day weekend…. but who care! I have a feeling that if you miss this one you’ll end up regretting it! And hey if you happen to be an ROH fan reading this, who has never seen PWG and is always hearing people talk about PWG and wrestlers like Chris Hero, B-Boy, Super Dragon, Bobby Quance and are wondering what all the crazy talk is about. Then here is your chance to come experience them live! Just GO already! But if however some unfortunate twist of fate (like having a broken leg, or perhaps if you live on a dirt farm in Northern Iowa, or if you attend the University of Kentucky with the UK Kid) will prevent you from being able to attend the event live. Don't fret! You can enjoy PWG brand action from your own living room! Basement!!! Or Van down by the river!!!!! By purchasing a top notch PWG DVD from http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com or http://www.Highspots.com !!!!! Including the newly released 44 Ways To Kill You With a Pimento featuring SBS Vs. Josh Prohibition/M-Dogg 20, Adam Pearce Vs. Babi Slymm, Bobby Quance Vs. Ricky Reyes, The Show stealing B-Boy Vs. Scorpio Sky, a hilarious 6-man opener and more! Also the newly released PWG "Rocktoberfest" featuring Samoa Joe Vs. B-Boy, SBS Vs. X-Foundation, A 4-way world title match, CM Punk Vs. Steve Corino, A hilarious 8-man tag match and even MORE! Check them out.... And for all you Jack Benny-esque economists out there, you will be pleased to learn that PWG DVDs now start at the incredibly low price of only 14.95!!! (a full $5 lower than most Indy's charge for DVDs) So buy one won't you? Heck at that price, buy 2!... watch one and keep the extra in a dry place with your Batman back issues, It'll be worth money one day! Promise. So there you have it, thank you so much for reading and for the great response this thing has been getting. Please leave any feedback, overdue library books or what ever you want to add. Right here. Oh before I go, I have to say that you may not a PWG Preview from me next month. As I could find myself without a computer for a while. So if you don't see a preview next month... that's the reason. All just leave you all with a favorite quote of mine… "Big Bucks, Big Bucks, No whammies, STOP!" It's metaphor for life isn't it?
