If it's AOL go to help and then allow AOL to find a connection itself..it should add a new location (other than 'home') for you to dial from (in reality you're not dailing from anywhere new..just let AOL think that). That's what I did anyway. Failing that, if you have your virus tools running such as McAfee, go to the privacy options and see if they have changed - you may have to allow AOL or AIM access to the net.
