I got it about two years ago when it was still in the $400 range, but it's come down quite a bit in price. It's an amazing camera, very small so you can fit it in your jeans/pants pocket to easily take pictures at social occasions, etc. It's 3.2 megapixels with a 3x optical zoom and 3x digital. That camera Deon linked to has no optical zoom, so I'd be wary or something like that! It would be terrible for sporting events/landmarks, etc. when you would need a good zoom. It has a digital zoom, but that just distorts the pixels.
