LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Q and A September 7, 2004 Q: If there were a Tough Enough 4 would you consider being one of the teachers? A: There is going to be a Tough Enough 4, and I am not interested in teaching on it. I have my hands full where I am and enjoy working with my people in OVW. Q: What is the biggest bump you’ve ever taken? A: I’ve taken several Power Bombs off the tope rope from Chris Candito, which are likely the biggest. Q: What is your opinion of Teddy Hart? A: I don’t know Teddy well, but he seems to have a lot of talent, but needs to mature a lot yet. Q: Have you ever had a Ladder Match? A: I’ve had two of these both with Chris Jericho, and both in Calgary. I even won them both. Q: Did you prefer working on RAW or Smack Down? A: There were high lights and low lights of both. I can’t really pick they all blend in together at this point. Q: How hard is travel in WWE? A: Hard enough that Brock Lesnar walked away from a multi-million dollar contract. This is the toughest job there is from a travel standpoint. Between 200 and 260 days a year on the road with no off-season. Unless you love it like we do, it will kill you. Q: Which of your Title Reigns meant the most? A: I look at Title Reigns different than most people, so this is a real tough question. The Three Titles run in WCW got me the most recognition so I will have to go with that one. Q: Who was the most fun to work with? A: I don’t think I can pick just one person, as there are so many variables and great guys to work with. Don “Cyrus” Callis, and I had so much fun at times, Jerry Lynn I’d work for free, Tommy Dreamer was always, excuse the pun, a Dream, Champaign Gerry Morrow, Chris Candito, the list goes on and on. Q: What are your thoughts on working Spike Dudley? A: Spike is one of the few people I’ve actually been in near fight with back stage over a finish. On an ECW house show in Baton Rough (I think) he out right refused to let me put him over. We sat and argued for close to 20 minutes before I finally had to all but threaten him into letting me do the job. Other than his difficultness, I absolutely love working with Spike. Q: What are your thoughts on Bam Bam Bigelow’s retirement? A: This is news to me and I wish Bammer well. We worked in Japan and ECW together and I got to both know and like him. His work in Japan was off the charts, man he could control that ring. Q: What are your thoughts on the new dress code? A: I can see both sides to this. I’m not a big fan of blanket policies, but some people needed to professional up a bit. Looking good is an asset, but it does cost us our individuality, which is very important in wrestling. We must relate to our fans and have them relate to us. Austin is a prime example. He wore jean shorts and T-shirts, and was a Texas Red Neck. People saw that that was real and related to it. I also think that if we all dress up HHH and Evolution lose part of their uniqueness. I think there is a happy medium that might better serve everyone, but guys showing up at airports in tank tops and ripped sweats had to stop. Q: Is there a gimmick you would refuse to do? A: There likely is but it would have to be extremely distasteful, as I have always been a team player and done what I was told. Q: Do you consider yourself under rated in your WWE career? A: I don’t think under rated is the right word. I think I was respected as a very talented individual by fans, co-workers, and the office. I think they all rated me very highly. I think I could have been utilized more, at times, but that is true of so many people. I had a ton of opportunities in WWE, and had a lot of fun. I worked with almost the entire roster and held titles on 5 occasions. I look back at my WWE career fondly. Q: Were you on the 2002 Plane ride from Hell? A: Nope I missed that one! Q: Who is the stiffest wrestler you ever worked with? A: Koji Kitao, a former Grand Champion in Sumo. I worked with him numerous times in Japan. His kicks rattled every bone in your body. He was 6’ 8” and weight 390 lbs I think at the time Q: Has anyone ever stiffed you on purpose? A: There are likely a few, but only one that I know for sure was on purpose. The late Pitt Bull 2 and I got into a bit of a fight in a battle royal in Vienna Austria. I’m saving the rest of the details for my book. You guys better hope it gets published some day I’m teasing you with a lot of tid bits. (LOL) Q: Do you have a favourite RAW Diva? A: I have to keep it in the family, Victoria. Q: What is the stupidest question you have ever been asked? A: You mean apart from this one? Q: Have you ever feared getting hurt like Droz? A: What happened to Droz was horrific, but you can’t think about stuff like that. If we did we would never be able to perform. Q: Was the Dynamite Kid the best wrestler ever, in your opinion? A: I don’t think there is one best ever, and I’d have to have worked with him to give a fair opinion. Q: Do you have a pension fund set up? A: I’ve had a financial plan set up for years. I am not going to be wrestling or selling autographs at 65. Q: Is Ken Shamrock the most dangerous man to ever step foot in a WWE ring? A: I wouldn’t say so no. He may be the most skilled fighter (not that I would know that for sure either) but skilled fighters don’t put you on the most dangerous list. Guys like King Tonga, or Fit Finlay, are dangerous people. Q: Sid considers himself the greatest wrestler of ever. DO you agree? A: He may say he considers himself that but I doubt he honestly believes it, at least not using the word “wrestler”. Please! Q: Hulk Hogan said he considers wrestlers to be the greatest athletes alive. Do you agree? A: I think some of us are. You certainly can’t group us all together. Kurt Angle is, Hulk Hogan, not so much. No offence Hulkster but I don’t see you placing in the Decathlon at any point in your career. (LOL) Q: What do they mean when the announcer says. “This bout scheduled for one fall”? A: It means it a regular run of the mill match that will be over when one guy takes a fall. (pin fall, submission, etc.) That’s it for another week, or so. Keep those questions coming. Lance
SinToxic 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Interviewer was a bit dumb and I think the biggest move Storm fears is the choke slam so that must be his biggest "bump".

A: There likely is but it would have to be extremely distasteful, as I have always been a team player and done what I was told. That explains his "September 11th" line during the Un-Americans run, although that could still be considered "extremely distasteful"

Guest Korgath Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Interviewer was a bit dumb and I think the biggest move Storm fears is the choke slam so that must be his biggest "bump". It's not an interviewer. Storm regularly posts a consolidated Q&A from all the questions he gets over the month.

He could have sorted it out: "Now, now, boys. There's no need to get angry. Tell you what, you can BOTH job....to me!"

The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Interviewer was a bit dumb and I think the biggest move Storm fears is the choke slam so that must be his biggest "bump". Actually, I'm pretty sure he hates the Awesome Bomb the most. He said he always would take it on his neck.
