dubq Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 See topic. I recently bought a used copy of FPW2 and I didn't clue in that maybe the previous owner had completed the main mode. Well, they did, as well as mess around greatly with the leagues and wrestler names... there's no reset option in any of the menus... does anyone know a button sequence or something to reset a gamepak's batterie?
The Czech Republic Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 Submerge the cartridge in orange juice, worked for me
AndrewTS Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 Really good question, and I've yet to figure out the answer. I had the same problem with FPW, because I wanted to delete the data all in one sweep, but couldn't do it. However, I'm not sure how it works with FPW2. Perhaps there's something in the manual about it, but I'm guessing since you got it used you didn't get one.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 Usually turning off a game in the middle of saving does the trick. It worked for my copy of FPW2
teke184 Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 Most GBA games with a battery have an option that says "Restore defaults" or somesuch that will revert everything on the game back to the default values. I don't know where that would be stored on THIS particular game, but it's usually listed on the Options menu or some submenu of that.
dubq Posted September 13, 2004 Author Report Posted September 13, 2004 Yeah, there's no Option menu, nor does it say anything about restoring defaults in the manual. =\
