The Czech Republic Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Just read the crawl on the bottom of the screen on the Cubs game. Apparently somebody in the Illinois Capitol (in Springfield for those of you unfamiliar with the state) has shot a security guard and is being pursued in the building, which is under lockdown. Those are all the details I've seen, but hopefully this is just an isolated whackjob and not part of anything more severe.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 When I read the thread's title, I thought it was going to be announced that Alan Keyes was pulling to within 50 points of Tyler's Man-Crush...
The Czech Republic Posted September 21, 2004 Author Report Posted September 21, 2004 I'm sure it's been said a million times, but I think his campaign slogan should be "Do you smell what Barack is cookin'?"
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 The GOP would have a better shot at Obama if they picked Mr. T
2GOLD Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Christopher Walken would have dominated.
Guest Sylvan Grenier Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 The GOP would have a better shot at Obama if they picked Mr. T Yes, Barack vs. Baracus would've been a match for the ages.
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 but Mr. T's links to a team of escaped war criminals will hurt him in the polls. "Bah-rack Oh-bam-ah can expect pain.. i'm gonna crucify him, real bad"
Guest Crazy Dan Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Oh, I would pay money on PPV to see Clubber Lang vs. Obama. That would be so cool. But in the case of Obama, it will be entertaining to see Alan Keyes get smeared. When the Mike SC even is calling someone a nut in his party, which I am assuming is Republican based on his posts, you know you are in trouble. And Keyes first slammed Hitlery for moving to NY to run for Senator, but it is ok for him to do the exact same thing? This makes hims hippocrite. And then calling Cheney's lesbian daughter a hedonistic sinner, well he has proven he has lost it. Obama is one of the brightest young politicians to hit the scene for a long time. And he can give a great speech. I thought he gave the best speech at the Conventiosn, Democrat and Republican. Well Zell Miller was great, only because he really is bitter and challenging Mattews to a duel makes him ripe for mocking and comedy. Being that I am thinking Bush is going to win, Obama booting Keyes back to the East coast, will brighten my day up. Nothing like a nice ass whooping on a jerk, to brighten my day.
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Senator Mr. T (R-IL) would be the first Black President, I assume.
The Czech Republic Posted September 22, 2004 Author Report Posted September 22, 2004 This makes hims hippocrite. Anyway, I can assure you that I have not seen one Keyes poster, placard, sign, T-shirt, button, or ANYTHING. Mr. T for the GOP would be the greatest thing. First of all, just seeing "Mr. T (R-IL)" would crack me up. "I'm gonna lay a beating...on the bureaucracy!" "What's your prediction for your fight against the income tax this year?" "Pain."
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Anyway, I can assure you that I have not seen one Keyes poster, placard, sign, T-shirt, button, or ANYTHING. You should make Alan Keyes t-shirts "Alan Keyes: From Maryland, with love"
