Candido had serious problems with the Clique in 95-96  HHH and Shawn are still there, and on top.  Very few were more of a victim of the Clique than Candido, who was buried by Shawn and Scott Hall big time.  His own girlfriend sold him out and partied with the Clique, because she thought it would be good for her career. Tammy admitted to this in her shoot interview. He could have been something, but was turned into a complete jobber after the Horowitz angle.  Anyone who has seen Foley's DVD, Cornette loved Candido and so did Foley.  He could have been a star with the right booking

Stranger things have happened in the WWE/F and if he can hire Sable back, it's not so far fetched he would take Tammy to. Despite the way she looks now..she has better mic skills than most of the women's roster and the charisma to. But i am rooting for Candido to make it back to the WWE.

I wasn't refering to it that way, like despite her apperance they would still bring her in anyway.

 

Because no doubt they wouldn't let her in at the weight she is now, she would have to get in shape..that's obvious..

 

I meant that despite the way she looks, i don't think she lost her ability to work the mic or charisma. The intangibles, that either you have or you don't.

I get your point, Graph. But from the few memories I have of Sunny, her "charisma" was more tied into her looks than anything. So she's lost half of her draw already. And her "look at me" primadonna schtick wasn't all that great either. Now that no one wants to look at her, what does she left to offer?

 

Granted, WW_'s continual use of Moolah and Mae Young flies in the face of my "looks are everything with the Divas" argument, but they're the exception to the rule, given their status in the wrestling pantheon.

LOL, i see what you are saying..Jake as done enough drugs to kill like 2 people. But he is still kicking. Tammy hasn't bottomed out on the level Jake has and yeah you can lose it, but even though people call Tammy names and she isn't what she used to be..

 

I will always be a fan. I still follow her career and to me, she has a love for the buisness still. It's a shame to think what she might of been, but those demons took over.

Candido could have been really good at one point. He was a very good worker, had a good look, and pretty good on the mic. However, I'm not sure he ever had it in him to be main event material. Unfortunately, his bad habits always got in the way before he was able to show his potential. He has never in the past shown the ability to stay away from those things long enough to succeed, what makes us think he will now? I'm all for him though. I hope he can stay clean and be great. We definitely need a new face in WWE right now.

 

And Tammy should stay away from WWE. I think for her own good, she just needs to get out of wrestling forever.

I thought the same thing. Maybe giving her money and the motivation to work her body back intot shape for a tv camera is just asking for the demons to resurface?

 

If she still has a close relationship with the McMahon women like mentioned here, I wouldn't rule out a return to the company in some capacity. You have to think that Vince still has a huge soft spot for Tammy. She was in reality the first Diva. The WWF's first crossover success story, post Nitro dominance, with her status of being the most downloaded woman on the Internet.

 

She has a mind for the business, perhaps there is a place for her in the office? She is overweight, not repulsive, perhaps they could work her in as a TV interviewer or something. Or as someone mentioned. Pull the disgruntled overweight Diva of yesterday card and have her target someone like a Stacy Keibler. Maybe manage another woman competitor to take Stacy and other WWE divas out. There are still possibilities.
