Guest Brian Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 John Eisenhower, son of Dwight D. Eisenhower, changed his party affiliation today to Inderpendent, and is voting for Kerry. Link here.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Before he became president, wasn't Ike's party affiliation mostly a mystery and he finally chose to be a Republican?...
Guest GreatOne Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 In other news, in Yakima today Eisenhower high school was renamed 'Eisenhower Independence' and Principal Stacey Locke encouraged all other high schools named Eisenhower to do the same. No word yet from Lawton, Oklahoma whether that's happened yet. Wait a minute, why the hell is an indie voting for Kerry? Shouldn't he just go ahead and say that he's a Democrat?
AndrewTS Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 The title is odd... Tony: I can't believe it, Brain!! John Eisenhower has just defected to the Kerry World Order!!
Guest MikeSC Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 In SHOCKING news, Kerry's third grade teacher said that she is voting for Bush. -=Mike
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Am I the only one who is really sick of the focus being put on individual examples of liberals or conservatives who have switched to the other ticket? I mean, it would be one thing if the entire Kennedy clan declared themselves to be Republican, but no one made a big deal when a bunch of Maria's relatives support Arnold.

I don't get how (fill in the blank) Eisenhower is still referred to as a Republican by some, when, say, Zell Miller is not referred to as a Democrat. -=Mike
Guest GreatOne Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Especially if you try to tell Tyler that last part
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Who refers to Eisenhower as a Republican? He's very clearly an independant. Did you not read the post?
Guest GreatOne Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 OK so other than possibly the same tired 'Bush needs to go' rhetoric, WHY is he voting for Kerry again?

Slayer Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 The fluff brigade sure is late with this one
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Sorry for making a point before going on with my usual insightful ways...
