Orton looked pretty good for a realtive newbie, it was the first chance i had to see him as i missed the last SD he was on and havent watched the tape yet. How much did HHH's commentary suck..I know the gist of it was for him to intentioanlly be a little "toung in cheek" but it sounded soo bad

Or what if they put "What" at the beginning of Austin's music? Imagine what the WWF would be like if they put catchphrases in the beginning of everyone's music. Imagine how much it would suck if they also put crappy drum rolls after each catch phrase like they did with the Rock's.

Eddie Guerrero's "Latino Heat" sounds like a deformed ogre; "Mamacita" actually sounded better. Somebody needs to tell Mr. Holly that his joke of a catchphrase is not going to get him a pop... or heat... what is he again?

I think it cheapened Flair's timeless, classical theme a lot when they put a stupid "whoo!" in front of it. But man, they have to do that with so many wrestlers for no real reason... Undertaker, The Rock, Hardcore Holly, The Hurricane... it's almost like they're admitting that their entrance music is so generic it can't be immediately identified by the audience. And as for Rico making Billy & Chuck... B&C have been the most entertaining for about a month now. Rico's been with them for about a month now. Coincidence? I think not... I LOVE Rico! Especially his '70s porn star sideburns!

They had a nice little thing going on a few weeks back. Angle and jericho were getting over, so Hunter demanded that Angle and Jericho be broken up and for Angle to get a jobber as a partner.

Anyway, one thing I kept forgetting to mention was D'von's preacher gimmick. The line about "May lightning strike you from above... but if it doesn't, I will" (or something like that, I'm paraphrasing) is the coolest line I've heard on Smackdown! in a while.

Storm and Benoit are pretty equal in the ring though Storm is a better aerial wrestler.

Well, sure, anytime somebody beats the Icon Hulk Hogan, it's sure to be a ratings popper (and anyone who thought Goldberg wasn't going to win that night was only fooling themselves). But Nitro's slide back down in the ratings the very next week proved that Goldberg wasn't as huge a draw as everyone thought. And that was in his heyday. Now, 4 years later, do you think he'll be anywhere near as good, effective, or over, especially with the WWe crowd? Getting back to Smackdown, I hope Vince realizes now that Hogan with the belt was just bad bad bad. And that UT/Hogan will just dig the hole deeper for him. Methinks things will be getting worse before they get better...
