If LSU wins out and goes 9-2 in the regular season, it will be exactly what most pre-season rankings were expecting considering the schedule and the turnover in starting players. Everyone knew coming in that the four-week stretch of playing Auburn, Georgia, and Florida on the road would probably produce two losses. On the plus side, LSU's remaining home schedule is against Troy State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Alabama, and their only away game is at the end of the season against a slumping Arkansas.
