I'm a HUGE Mike Ness fan. I think he's the greatest thing to ever happen to punk. And after eight long years, Social D is back. Has anyone heard it yet? I know I'll be picking it up, but I wanted other opnions on the matter first.

So...just bought it, it's only my second SD album- I'm making a nice effort to get into them to give justification to wearing my badass Social Distortion shirt.

 

I listened to the first 4 tracks on the drive home- all sounded great- "Footsteps on my Ceiling" stuck out the most to me.

Yeah, it's a really good CD, but then, I mark out for everything Social D. It sounds like it'll be more "radio friendly" than their other records though, so take that how you will.

I don't know, man. White Light, White Heat, White Trash was pretty radio-friendly. "I Was Wrong" was all over the radio and MTV when it was released in '96. And radio-friendly Social D can't be bad. After all, it's NESS.

Yeah, but wait untill you hear "Footprints On My Ceiling", "Highway 101", and "Nickles and Dimes". Not that it's a bad thing (and I'd be happy if they did well).
