A murderer is condemned to death.

He has to choose between three rooms.

The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in three years.

Which room is the safest for him?

The room of Hungry Lions.

The room of lions.

If the lions haven't ate in three years, they'd be dead.

I believe "tombstone" would be an acceptable answer, also.

There's a backpack in the desert. No footprints around it, no signs of visible force. There happens to be a body attached to it. How can this be?

Good call, here's another one.

A man is alone for the weekend while his girlfriend goes to her mother's. She gives him £30 which isn't for smoking or drinking.

He goes smoking and drinking. He also breaks open a savings box and blows it at the racetrack. An additional £50 is gone.

How does he explain this to her?

Think you've got the answer? http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...=61752&st=0

Yeah, I know, it's an old one.

He didn't spend the £30 on anything. The rest was his money?

These questions have been asked to hundreds of college graduates, and hundreds of kindergarteners. Of those asked, 79% of college graduates could not answer correctly, whereas 85% of kindergarteners could. There are four questions, and I will ask them in order, and then ask them all one-by-one. How do you get an elephant into a refrigerator? How do you get a giraffe into a refrigerator? The Lion King calls an important kingdom meeting, and one animal does not attend, but which one? And finally, how do you cross a crocodile-infested river?

1. How do you get an elephant into a refrigerator?

2. How do you get a giraffe into a refrigerator?

3. The Lion King calls an important kingdom meeting, and one animal does not attend, but which one?

4. How do you cross a crocodile-infested moat?

1. Open door, insert elephant, close door.

2. Open door, remove elephant, insert giraffe, close door.

3. The giraffe, he's still in the fridge.

4. Just swim across. Don't worry about the crocodiles, they're all at the meeting.

I take it you've heard this before, eh?
