Moves/spots that you hate

The Vandaminator: Let me just hold this chair you threw at me, RVD, so you can kick it in my face. Granted, it hasn't been done in awhile, but it use to be done all the time. I can understand it working once or twice (due to the element of surprise), but after awhile, you're retarded if you fall victim to it.

 

Booker T's scissors kick (or is it an axe kick?): It makes for a fine transition move, but as a finisher it's unrealistic.

 

Jericho's Lionsault: I love Jericho, but this, much like with Booker's kick, strikes me as more of a transition move (transition spot?) than a believable finisher.

Vamdaminator:  Well, later in ECW people did start countering it.  When RVD went for it, they would duck or something.

 

In a spot with Storm and RVD it went:  Storm swings a chair at RVD, RVD ducks, RVD gets back up and goes for Van-Daminator, Storm by dodging the kick, but when he turns around Vam-Daminator.. didn't see it and couldn't block it.  That's how a Vam-Daminator is suppose to be.  

didn't someone (I think Jerry Lynn) just wallop Fonzie with the chair one time to counter it?

Lots of people.. mainly Lynn and Sabu have thrown the chair back in RVD's face to counter the VanDaminator. Lynn also VanDaminator Fonzie one time when Fonzie was holding the chair to throw it to RVD.

Any time Rikishi is clothelined, he flips, and for some reason, J.R. talks about the impressive strength of the man who flipped over Rikishi.

 

We call that the FFF - 'Fat Fuck Flip.'

 

My biggest pet peeve move/spot, and really, one of my biggest pet peeves about rasslin in general -

 

Wrestler A strikes Wrestler B. B doubles over in pain, A takes his good sweet time running the ropes and FINALLY, TEN SECONDS LATER, does a move on the still doubled-over B.

 

This makes me crazy, and you see it in every WWF show. One time (I think it was in late 99) I saw this spot in every match on a RAW card. Arrrr.

Multiple ref bumps like when they get up and keep getting bumped just make it a no dq match or something damn

I'm sure someone may have mentioned this, but I really can't stand Edge's half-nelson bulldog. The mechanics of it make it look really awkward to maneuver, and there doesn't seem to be any momentum to carry out the bulldog portion of it. Just an ugly, contrived spot, really.

Mmmm... ok.. couldn't be more wrong there.

He's goign for a second rope senton splash... it's a transistion move of his.. he misses it 99.99% of the time, turning the tide of the match and allowing his oppoent to recover and take control.

 

And if you have no idea what a simple senton is:

Face a downed opp, jump forwards and lean backwards, so you land back first on them.

Can be done standing, running, second rop (al a Bubba), top rope, from dives etc.

 

The Swanton is a very crappy try at a sumersault senton.

Isn't the normal name for a Swanton a Senton Bomb? I always assumed that calling a Swanton was to Hardyffeminize it.

Nope. A Senton Bomb is a top rope senton splash.

A Swanton is a very poor somersault senton. Sasuke's Centon Atomic is the origonal Somersault Senton, that's how the move is meant to look.
