Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 8, 2004 Where's Northern Arizona/Eastern Washington on this week's 'big games' scale? A Big East/MAC showdown? Line up for Rutgers/Akron, everybody! Or even better, UConn-Ball State, IN TORONTO!~ Oh and we have an entrant into the AngleSault territory of WIN EVERY GAME OR YOU'RE TEH SUXORS!!!!!~ apparently, how nice............ Hell at least if Don James were still coaching at UW I'd have the sense to shut the hell up.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Weekends like this are simply awesome. so many big matchups.. I suppose that's the fun of flipping back and forth. On an unrelated note, I just heard someone (I think Chris Fowler) belt out "FUCK" (wasn't censored) on College GameDay a moment ago, because Rocket Ismail had a mic problem. That was funny shit. Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 9, 2004 In the 'scores that matter to me' department: EWU!~ with the upset of #16 NAU in a high-scorer. Wazzu 31, Oregon 17 and UW ekes out their first W of the year over SJSU These predictions are not official
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Minnesota is up 24-17 on Michigan with 12 minutes left. If they pull it out, Wisconsin may be the only team standing between them and an undefeated season.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Touchdown Michigan puts them up 27-24 with less than two minutes to go. For those in the pick 'em contest Michigan State beat Illinois 38-25. Game was preempted for baseball. It's over in Ann Arbor. Is Minnesota ever going to beat Michigan again?

Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 I was so excited because, until right at 3:30, my ABC affiliate was doing the pre-game for USC/Cal. But the coverage map was true - Georgia Tech/Maryland for me. Love me some ACC, but ah, too bad. All the blown coverages by the Georgia DBs are really surprising. They're not just little oversights - guys getting 10 yards behind the entire defense just isn't right.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Christ on a cracker how many times has the UT band played Rocky Top already? I've counted probably 20.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 One thing is for sure, if Georgia plays like this against Auburn, they're gonna get hammered.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Big upset in the SEC as Mississippi, who's just been awful this year, beats #25 South Carolina 31-28. Army ends the longest losing streak in the country by beat Cincinnati 48-29.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Reggie Bush answers a Cal touchdown to cut the lead to 23-17 with an 84 yard kick return. But Cal intercepts a pass in the endzone. This one is going to go down to the wire. Stanford is going to lose to Notre Dame 23-15. They lead the majority of the game but settling for field goals on two 1st and Goal situations early in the game killed them.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 That Georgia Tech/Maryland game I was complaining about has turned into more evidence as to why GT is the craziest team in the ACC. Last week they get waxed by Miami, they get creamed by UNC, and then they come out and dominate Maryland all over the field. Up 17-0, and they're back in the red zone again. Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Man Georgia is not looking good at all. Lucky for them, Tennessee isn't looking much better, but right now they're looking good enough. Somewhere, Kotz is spooging.

Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Christ on a cracker how many times has the UT band played Rocky Top already? I've counted probably 20. 25, maybe. Just a random guess. and fuck Notre Dame. Also, Cal's Aaron Rodgers is 23/23 for 220 yards... geezus
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 On another note, this is EXACTLY why I think if the SEC winner goes undefeated, they should get into the Orange Bowl. I'd like to see what would happen if USC or OU had to play an SEC schedule.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Cal's Aaron Rodgers throws his first incompletion of the game at 8:57 left in the 4th. He tied a record with 23 consective completions to start a game. USC still up 23-17, Call with the ball on the USC 36.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 I was hoping that Rodgers would better that streak, but, oh well. Better to throw the ball away than to take a sack.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 Cal has 1st and Goal at the USC 9 with 1:47 left in the game. Incomplete pass. 2nd and Goal. Rodgers sacked! 3rd and Goal at the 14. Incomplete pass. 4th and Goal. INCOMPLETE! USC WILL WIN!!!

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2004 USC plays Arizona State next week, and your boys have OSU down the road. Undefeated? Maybe. Guaranteed? Not even close. I think we'll take OSU. They run the ball. You can't run the ball against us. We've proved it in all of our games. We shut down a Heisman canidate today.
