But then what do you DO with all the grass clippings you bag?

Bag them and leave them for the city to deal with. There's really no option at that point as there isn't much you can do with the amount of grass there is in my yard.

But then what do you DO with all the grass clippings you bag?

Dump them in the woods and let the animals eat them.

Or something.

Oh hell no. My yard has already been attacked by some animal -- my future father in-law says it was wild turkeys, but I'm leaning more toward deer due to the tracks left behind.

And besides, when the clippings get dumped into the landfill, it'll help grow trees and shit. You should be all about that, Eric...

What kind of a hippie idea is that? Growing trees and shit?

Who are you and what have you done with the real kkk?

...I can't get online for a couple days, and this is what I come back to, a watered down kkk?...

Heres something else I'd do. Create an anti-fatty campaign and anti-fatty movement as sweeping as the anti-smoking campaign we have now. Obese people are going to be such an economic drain on this country for so many reasons it's staggering. Make PE a daily routine in schools of all levels. I don't care how smart Americans become, if they keep missing work because they're sick from Diabetes or Hypertension, they won't help us out. And this problem needs to be NIPPED in the BUD.

I'm 100% on board with that. Over half this country is fat. Less than a third are smokers, and those people aren't going to quit no matter how many campaigns you run. Fatasses should be down to the same ratio.

We need to adopt the UK's policy for frivolous lawsuits where the prosecutor has to cover the legal fees for both sides.

Also, for the guys complaining about the lawn...just install FieldTurf! It's low maintenance, and it looks more like grass than Astroturf does. You can't go wrong.

Last thing we need is an American suburban crisis of knee injuries and concussions..

One law I want to mess with is the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.

They divide all regulated substances into five categories.

Schedule I drugs are defined as those considered to have high potential for abuse, with no recognized medical use in treatment in the US

Schedule II drugs are those with a high potential for abuse; some (but often marginal) recognized medical use; and a high incidence of physical or psychological dependence. These are available only by prescription, and distribution is carefully controlled and monitored by the DEA.

Marijuana is Schedule I

Cocaine is Schedule II

Meth is Schedule II

Think about that

Marijuana shouldn't even be included on that list, and Cocaine and Meth should be Schedule I. In fact, there should be no "Schedule I" or "Schedule II", either they're a public health issue or they aren't.
