Black Lushus Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 This is ridiculous...Mike from Real World: Back To New York is going to be on this new season of Tough Enough...seriously, what the fuck? Why is this fucking guy on MTV so damn much? I mean has anyone here ever seen or heard anything on Miz's wrestling abilities? I know he's always wanted to be a wrestler, but this reality show record he seems to be setting is getting outta hand...
Damaramu Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 I'm pretty sure he's already trained in wrestling. Which would make this show a sham b/c they should be getting kids that have never engaged in wrestling. That's why I didn't like Harvard being on the first season. But Miz and Trishelle have pretty much become professional reality stars....which would defeat the purpose of reality TV...if it were to have a purpose.....
Golgo 13 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Mike last wrestled for UPW, I believe. I've never seen any of his matches though.
Black Lushus Posted October 18, 2004 Author Report Posted October 18, 2004 Don't get me wrong, he's one of the best RW/RRs out there, so it's not HORRIBLE that he's on all the time, but this is getting kinda outta hand here... Real World Battle Of The Seasons Battle Of The Sexes The Gauntlet The Inferno Battle of the Sexes 2 Tough Enough am I missing anything? Coral is almost as bad...those two have to be the worst ones then, right?
Black Lushus Posted October 19, 2004 Author Report Posted October 19, 2004 Agreed, Puck's involvement in any of this shit means I will be watching...
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I don't think that's fair to the others. He's used to having cameras following him, so he got that aspect down pat. He already has a character he's used for almost 6 years now.
Guest whitemilesdavis Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 They announced that they are accepting indy guys this time around, so he won't be the only guy with some experience. I've seen his matches, and while he isn't great, I'd put him a large step ahead of anyone while they were on Tough Enough.
SinToxic Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 WWE has already made judgements about him while he was in UPW I'm sure which isnt fair for those who have no input whatsover outside of speaking 4 lines and showing their tits and abs. This could be WWE's way of getting Mike into the company, making it look like he earned it instead of giving him a job for just being a drunken lay from MTV's "reality" show. should this be considered spoilers?
Black Lushus Posted October 19, 2004 Author Report Posted October 19, 2004 I can't wait to see Al Snow break his ass off...is Al Snow still doing it?

I don't know who else is on, but it is quite possible that there will be other guys from prominent indy promotions on the show. It's not against the rules this time. I doubt it's a set-up for Mike to get in WWE, though, because he's not that good. Then again, WWE has done stranger things.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Why MTV has people like Mike, Coral, Veronica, and Katie come back for challenges? Their weekly drama = RATINGS.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I thought this Tough Enough was gonna be on Smackdown and not MTV? Does WWE even have a deal with MTV anymore?
Guest whitemilesdavis Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 As far as I know, it is only gonna be on Smackdown, kinda like the Diva search was on Raw.

I remember them saying it on a few shows...although on the actual shows didn't seem as if the people that auditioned did...but I distinctly remember something about them having to have some kind of training.
