Quick Way To Convert .bmp To .jpg?

Is there a program that can mass convert .bmp images to .jpg images so that rather than having to individually change the file extension or open in an editor and "save as" i can just highlight a load of files and click "convert" or something and it'll change them all?

Yup, here is one of the best I have used for just that purpose...

It isn't technically free, but you can evaluate it forever. Not that I recommend that, I'm just saying...
