What happened to In Flames?

If you've been paying attention to In Flames over the last couple of years, you'd have noticed they're apparently striving for the attention of the American mallcore faction, given changes in their appearance and music in the last three years, especially if you've heard their latest CD (Soundtrack to Your Escape)

Believe it or not, the same thing happened with P.O.D.. Their earlier stuff sounds very much like Biohazard, and then they turned into what they are today. I won't bother checking out the video since I'm on the 56k, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that In Flames is in fact, just Flaming now.
