When was the last time WWF/E ran a PPV where the IC title match was nearly 3 times longer than the World Title match? I guess it needed to be, and even 9 minutes was still way too much Diesel/Mabel for my liking. You had to feel sorry for Bret Hart and the Undertaker, lumped with deadweight like they were.

I love Summerslam 1995. It was one of my favourite ever shows.

Sure, there were a few crappy matches but most of the card was good. Hell, I think the Undertaker/Kama casket match is a good match.

Match of the night, and the year, has to go the ladder match betweeen Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels. I personally prefere it to the ladder match at Wrestlemania X becuase it seems a lot more brutal with Shawn getting a real beating from Razor. Good stuff.

"Baywatch" was the first thing that came to mind

Just to elaborate a little more, it was during that pre-show that the Giant came face-to-face with Hogan for the first time as he interrupted Okerlund's interview with the champion in the aisle.

Summerslam 1995 get's too much shit.

Michaels/Ramon II is great, although with no real heel (I guess Ramon was the default heel) it wasn't the same.

Bret Hart dragged a ***-ish match out of Glen Jacobs

Undertaker/Kama wasn't completely crappy.

Hakushi/1-2-3 Kid is an under-rated match, in the *** range.

Skip/Horowitz is the same as the above, just shouldn't have been that good.

Everything else was either short or not too bad.

Yeah, I've mentioned before that SS95 is up there for one of my favorite shows. I even get a perverse pleasure out of Diesel/Mabel. The Luger run-in is especially funny.

Summerslam 95 gets love for Gorilla Monsoon's (RIP) announcement of 'This (Shawn/Sid) is not what the fans want to see'

Of course if it had gone on at Summerslam and Michaels/Razor II had been on RAW who knows how the Mon night wars would have begun

'HE DOVE OFF THE LADDER AND NO ONE WAS HOME' :D

The Shawn/Razor Ladder is one great match. I remember being on the edge of my seat the entire match. The Bret/Yankem match and the Casket match were both pretty good as well. The rest of the card is pretty bad though.

The 1995 Bash at the Beach was a really bad PPV. Even the Flair/Savage match really wasn't that good, and almost always good matches when they wrestled each other.
