The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 That's what i said but this will confuse the fans to no end. which is why it works. Or maybe his friend can be someone else that is going bald really bad?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 22, 2004 Shawn and HHH are on Raw though.
Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted October 22, 2004 SD thoughts: I think I went to the same HS as the big black dude that made the cut. The star football player for our team for a couple years was a big black guy named Justice Smith. He went out with my 3rd grade teacher's daughter. I like Chavo, but his babyface promos freaking stink. Poor Marty
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Booker was booked (ahem) really strong at the end of the show and they set out the 6-man perfectly. They need to keep this up if they want to establish Booker as a legit contender to the belt, as he has kind of been wading around in mediocrity as of late. I'm actually a little interested in seeing Booker T vs. JBL. UYI
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Does Booker have a real chance of getting the title? Logically, if your ultimate goal is face challenger Undertaker vs. heel champ Angle at Wrestlemania 21 for the title, you'll need to transistion the belt to a babyface before Angle can get it. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Yes he does have a realistic chance as despite Paul Heyman's attempts, Undertaker and Kurt Angle are colliding forces at WMXI. Booker T isn't named Eddy Guerrero or Rob Van Dam, thus Angle is perfectly fine with booker holding the title. Besides, Booker T is retiring soon, so this if anything would be a novelty title run. Personally, I'd rather Eddy win the title back since JBL and Eddy never effectively finished their issues and have Eddy drop the title back to Angle at the rumble in a 25 minute I QUIT classic. I'd perfer Angle/HBK over Angle/Taker but we won't get that as long as Kurt Angle runs smackdown.

Why would Kurt Angle really have a problem with Eddie Guerrero holding the title? They've had their issues, but Angle always seemed willing to work a program with him before now. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Kurt Angle is likely afraid Eddy catches heat again and The front office changes their mind and they have heat now, which may or may be resolved but Angle like HHH holds a grudge as long as he can. He also likely knows with Booker, the fans will see him only as a transitional champion and won't make much of a difference and RVD, well we know that story well. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 He also likely knows with Booker, the fans will see him only as a transitional champion and won't make much of a difference and RVD, well we know that story well. You mean because of the injuries from 2001? Kurt Angle is likely afraid Eddy catches heat again and The front office changes their mind and they have heat now, which may or may be resolved but Angle like HHH holds a grudge as long as he can. Can you explain this differently? I don't understand what you mean.

Can you explain this differently? I don't understand what you mean. besides the injuries, Kurt Angle plain just doesn't like RVD. RVD is Jericho to Angle's HHH. Vince McMahon is still high on Eddy Guerrero, despite what it would appear, Imagine if Eddy gets another run and Vince decides, "I'm giving him a second chance", which vince likes to do, Kurt's fucked then. He isn't HHH level yet where he can completely manipulate Vince, So if Vince sees Eddy with the title and it goes well for that month, Vince may kibosh Angle's idea. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 My impression is that Angle doesn't care if the title's actually on him or not, so long as he's getting high-profile matches.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 23, 2004 That's what I thought but he and vince shot down Heyman's idea for Angle/HBK at WMXXI. Angle is dead set on working 'Taker for the title at Mania. Which is a shame because Heyman wanted Benoit/'Taker and Angle/HBK...two matches that hit **** easily but instead basically Angle left Benoit and HBK out in the cold there. I doubt Taker's jobbing at WM and esp not in title match, which what I don't understand, Why Angle wants to lose a third straight WM WWE Title Match. When he can go over a icon like shawn instead... Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 SD was so-so. For the most part, it was dull, but the booking of Booker in the six-man raised my opinion of the show somewhat. As for Booker transitioning the WWE Title to Angle, I could see that happening, if for no other reason than there doesn't seem to be anybody else who fits the bill. RVD will never get the Title, no matter how big his pops remain, and Eddie is seen as someone who could carry the belt for a lengthy run, so they won't make him a transitional champion. At least, not for a second time. As for the TE guy who tore his pec and biceps, I don't have any sympathy. It's bad that he suffered the injury, but, really, when you put too much muscle on your body, you're asking for trouble.
Twisted Intestine 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Quick Question: Were/Are the Tough Enough Contests legit? (Picking the contestants, picking the winner based on their showcase of skill etc) Or is it all just one big skam?

As great as that would be, I'm *so* sick of Eddie vs Angle right now that I'm happy if they never face each other again for the forseeable future. Also, Eddie's credibility is being totally destroyed, having being beaten clean by Angle and even taken down by Jindrak this week. At least Book vs JBL is a fresh match of sorts, and that is what SD! desperately needs right now. UYI
