NFL Week 7

I think Palmer is a better athlete than Kitna, and he's done a fair job actually, considering this is his first year and all. Everyone can't be Ben Roethlisberger, you know.

Cincinnati's problems are due to lack of run defense (worst in the NFL, even worse than Green Bay!) and a running game. Rudi Johnson doesn't seem to have done much, and I don't think I've heard anything about Chris Perry running.

Roethlisberger also has a lot of receiving talent that isn't available to Palmer.

Kitna took the same receiving talent and made it work.

Palmer has turned the Bengals back into...well, the Bengals.

Vitamin X, I wasn't comparing Favre to Jeter on a personal level, I was comparing the media's treatment of Jeter to their treatment of Favre. Favre is a likebale guy and busts his ass. It's hard not to like the guy. But he clearly isn't the player he once was (and there is nothing wrong with that, it happens to all players), but to ESPN and FOX, he still plays like Joe Montana in his prime. Yes, it's just that ESPN (and FOX) just latches on to guys and won't let go, and it can get annoying as hell.

Favre is in the top 5 for attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns, and first downs. 7 starting quaterbacks have more intercepetions, 3 are tied for him. He is still the leader of GB's offense(especially with Ahman Green struggling).

I dont think hes really dropped too far from his prime...

The Bengals really should try to book Primetime games more often.

2-0 this season. So they will finish 2-14.

Peter Warrick the team's #2 WR who only missed two games last year, had only played in one game before last night, and Rich Braham the starting center, got injured the last preseason game and missed the first three games. Give Carson Palmer some time.

And until he plays some defense, you cannot heap all of the blame on Palmer.
