Mad TV had an awesome skit during what I believe was the second episode of this season where they had her screeching out her unbearable lyrics until the record's producer turned on the "Pop Star Automatic" (or something to that extent) which made her voice sound like it does now.

 

Just like her fellow pop stars, her lip synching isn't much in doubt. But the fact that it happened on live TV is fucking beautiful.

Already got a thread on here. This incident doesn't matter though, anyone capable of rational thought knows that these performances are...bolstered with back tracked and double tracked vocal parts. It's more the presentation, then that content during the live performance.
