Guest Black Tiger Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 I'm not sure if this belongs in this folder, but it seems more suited since its hardware related. I copy tapes using the patch cord/two VCR method, but the VCR I use to play the tape while I record suddenly stopped showing color, and everything plays in black and white. I tried a VCR head cleaner and it didn't help at all. Now you might just think, just switch the cables and play out of the other VCR, but I can't do that because the remote is long lost and I have no way of setting the VCR to the channel input. Is there anything else I can do?
JJMc Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 Are you using RCA cables? Or coax? In either case, try using the other. Beyond that, I'd say the VCR is just on its way out.
