Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Damn, I getting two great games today...finally. But yea, on right now, Ravens/Eagles and already the 'hype' going into this games looks like it's going to make it better. 3 penalties for the Ravens already. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 This would be a better game if Kyle Boller knew how to throw a football. And Jamal Lewis wasn't out. As it is, this game has really lost some of my intrigue. Now, if Ray Lewis rips T.O's head off then it has my attention.
strummer 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 With 8 minutes to go in the first quarter, the Giants have 10 points on 11 total yards of offense. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 The Chiefs tried a new defense no one in the NFL has ever thought of employing against the Colts. The "leave Marvin Harrison wide open and triple cover Reggie Wayne" defense. So far it hasn't worked, but time will tell if it catches on. Indy 7-
fazzle 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Woo! Willis McGahee gets Buffalo's first rushing TD of the season! 10-0 Bills. 5 carries, 54 yards, 1 TD. He's starting off nicely. (Hey, I have to get excited about ANYTHING I possibly can this season)

(Hey, I have to get excited about ANYTHING I possibly can this season) Lemme get this straight. Henry in the backfield, the Bills look like crap. McGahee in the backfield, the Bills look like they could rough up the Patriots. The moral of the story? Keep Willis, trade Henry.

I don't think I've ever seen that before. ...How the hell did that happen? And who are they playing this week? Vikings Minnesota turned the ball over deep into their territory, Giants lose 14 yards on sacks and hit a 50 yard field goal. Giants get ball back and Shockey draws a 30 yards PI call and Giants use short field and score on a Tiki barber Touchdown

fazzle 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Random stat of the day: Throughout the first quarter, Arizona had 12 rushing attempts, and only one pass attempt.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Ok, if anyone's actually WATCHING the game (I've just got the NFL.com Gamecast), can you tell me how in the HELL Bledsoe manages to fumble the ball out of bounds 29 yards behind the line of scrimmage??

strummer 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Vikings turn the ball over again and the Giants take advantage of the short field again with another Tiki Barber TD. The Giants have 17 points on 63 total yards of offense with 13 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. I swear I have never seen anything like this in football. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 I don't get to see my Eagles play today dammit. I'm at work and it's dead so I got my other team on the TV. The KC Chiefs and they appear to have FINALLY remembered how to play football.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 31, 2004 The Bengals defense has been horrible today and yet Titans have only scored six points. Each side has had long drives all day.
Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Damn, Neon Deion just took a hell of a hit. Well...wasn't really, but looked nice.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Titans go for a td on 4th down on the 3 yard line with 3 seconds left in the half and the fake handoff for a pass to a wide open reciever gives Tennesee a 13-3 lead at the half. The Bengals defense is a fucking joke.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Chiefs are just killing the Colts right now and might be on pace for another 56 pt. performance. The Colts are never going to win it all unless they improve their defense.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 That's the problem with my Chiefs. They just can't defend worth a shit. Although they're doing an alright job on the Colts. How are my Eagles doing?

The Ravens defense has shut them down. But the Ravens offense would still have to score to win so the Eagles are fine. 6-3 Philly.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Would you please stop saying my in front of the team. We get it, you are a fan. And if Baltimore had any semblence of an offense, they would be far and away the best team in the league. How the hell does Boller only have 70 yards on the 13 completions? Even in the Eagles dink and dunk heyday the YPC weren't that bad.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Bengals save the game for them since Titans were marching down the field but get a big interception for a TD to bring the game 10-13.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Becase Boller got drafted for the real handy in game ability of being able to throw the ball really far while being on his knees. No joke that's why his draft stock went so high.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 31, 2004 I really feel that Baltimore realizes what idiots they were for taking Boeller and will be trying sign FA Kitna after this season. (They dont need to bother drafting a new kid, they got a team, they just a QB who won't be shitty. They won with Dilfer, Kitna is a improvement there). 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Becase Boller got drafted for the real handy in game ability of being able to throw the ball really far while being on his knees. No joke that's why his draft stock went so high. Then that's the key! Boller should drop back, roll out, fall to his knees and look for an open receiver! Not like he can avoid a sack on his feet. You know there is trouble when you hear rumblings of fans wanting Kordell Stewart at quarterback.

Wait the Eagles/Ravens are on CBS right? Well I have Indy/KC. Still.....I would rather have the Eagles since I like them more than KC and well.....KC isn't having to much trouble at the moment. I really need that Sunday NFL ticket thing on Dish Network. Well I need Dish network first.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 Good Lord, I knew Minnesota was overrated, they're down 20-0 to the Giants. Now of the Eagles would just pull away here, they'll be up 2 games on everyone else in the conference.
