madmatt2002 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2004 This TNA diary is made possible by Total Extreme Warfare and is done with the RaveX TEW Update 4. Impact Taping for 11/5/04: Dark Matches: Johnny B. Badd pinned Team Canada's Ruffy Silverstein after the TKO. Badd got some reaction but not too much. (Match Reaction: 40.2%, Match Quality: 59.0%, Overall: 45.0%) Jason Cross pinned The Amazing Red in a mild upset after the Crossfire. This match should have been on Impact but it wasn't for some reason. They had a good 11 minute match and the crowd popped for a few high spots (Match Reaction: 47.0%, 73.8%, 61.3%) After the match, Xplosion banners were put up: Xplosion Taping: Chad Collyer made Shark Boy submit to the Texas Cloverleaf. Collyer had generic wrestling tights on and was not dressed as a member of the Elite Guard of Jeff Jarrett. Another good X Division style match. (MR: 46.4%, MQ: 77.6%, OR: 59.9%) Abyss squashed D-Ray 3000 with the Black Hole Slam. Less said about this the better. The crowd was dead during this squash (MR: 31.6%, MQ: 67.2%, OR: 37.0%) Another dark match happened as the set was changing from Xplosion to Impact: Christopher Daniels pinned Chris Harris after reversing the Catatonic into a roll up and pulling the tights. Another great match and it wasn't even on the main show. AMW and Triple X brawl all over ringside. (MR: 57.4%, MQ: 80.6%, 67.3%) Impact Proper: Team Canada(Bobby Roode and Eric Young) beat Mikey Batts and Jerelle Clark in a non-title match. Nothing clicked at all and the crowd is dead. D' Amoure cracked Clark with the hockey stick as he had Roode pinned the the 630 Splash. (MR: 22.9%, MQ: 69.1%, 34.8%) Raven gave a cryptic promo threatening Abyss and Monty Brown for Victory Road and the Monster's Ball Match (80.6%) The Nash video is reshown (78.9%) and then the Hall video is reshown and much hype for the Outsiders coming to victory road is made. (77.7%) LA PARKA~! Yes La Parka wrestles on Impact today. L.A. Park, as he is now called, comes out. He is about to eat his squash through as Monty Brown is out. Pretty good match, better than your normal Monty Brown Impact squash but LA Park grabs the chair and instead of using it, gets up and dances on it. Monty pounces LA Park off the chair and covers him to score the pin. (and I forgot to write down the scores in TEW) Roddy Piper gives a promo for In the Pit with Piper at Victory Road (46.6%) The 3 Live Kru beat Dallas and Kid Kash when BG James pinned Kash with the Pumphandle Slam. After the match, Team Canada lays a beatdown on the Kru. (MR: 56.2%, MQ: 67.2%, OR: 62.7%) Jeff Jarrett gives an interview. Blah Blah Blah Planet Jarrett Blah Blah Blah, King of the Mountain. Basic gist is Jarrett hypes up his ladder match with Jeff Hardy at VR: (84.1%) Spanky made his TNA debut and pinned Alex Shelly with the Sliced Bread #2. Pretty good match. Quite a few nearfalls and false finishes. Spanky will be in the gauntlet match at VR (MR: 50.8%, MQ: 82.1%, OR: 64.0%) Petey Williams/AJ Styles video hyping up their match at Victory Road is shown (56.5%) Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles beat Petey Williams and Jeff Jarrett with one second to go in the ten minute time limit after Hardy pinned Petey Williams with the Swanton Bomb. AJ takes the X-Division Title and Jeff takes the TNA World Title and they hold them up for cheers. madmatt2002 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2004 Victory Road Recap: The show opens with a video package which sets up the main event between Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy tonight (Overall Rating: 77.0) Scott Hall arrives in a limo for Victory Road (77.5%) Trinity reminds us that she has an open challenge and if any woman can come from the back, she would kick their ass. Out comes Miss Texas(the former Jacqueline of WWE). She accepts the challenge and promises to rough up Trinity (45.1%) Trinity pinned Miss Texas with a Moonsault after Miss Texas missed a kneedrop off the top in a totally shitty match. Not a good first impression for your first time fans that might be watching this show, TNA. You really dropped the ball on this one. Trinity yells that she wants more competiton. (Match Reaction: 51.8%, Match Quality: 56.6%, Overall: 50.3%) The Nash has landed as Kevin Nash arrives at Victory Road, limping into TNA with a bang. (78.7%) X-Divison Gauntlet: Okay this should be hard to follow. Chad Collyer and Jerelle Clark draw #1 and #2. They trade a couple of high spots before Shark Boy comes in and works the crowd. Ruffy Silverstein of Team Canada comes out. Collyer eliminates Sharky just seconds before your god and mine, L.A. Park makes his way to the ring. Dutt enters and a lot of typical battle royal fair is going on here. Jason Cross is out to the action. Silverstein dumps Clark. Garza comes out to enter the chaos. Ruffy Silverstein gets himself eliminated by LA Park. Here comes Mikey Batts. Cross takes a one way trip to eliminationville via Chad Collyer. Puma comes into the mix. Sonjay Dutt comes up short via Collyer. Psychosis is out into the ring. Garza sends Collyer flying and the Amazing Red adds one more to the mix. A couple of high spots but nothing special. Garza just became my least favorite wrestlers by beating LA Park. Alex Shelley enters the gauntlet. The rat bastard Hector Garza eliminates Puma before Kid Kash makes his return to the X-Divsion by entering the gauntlet. Go Alex Shelley, as he eliminates Hector Garza. Michael Shane makes his way out and we are having a lot of eliminations. Psychosis put Mikey Batts over the ropes. Jerry Lynn makes his return to TNA to enter the gauntlet. Red takes Psychosis over the ropes with the Code Red for the elimination. Kazarian is in the house. Sonny Siaki is in the mix. Red goes out via Alex Shelley just as Spanky comes in. Lynn tosses Shane to the floor as Chris Sabin enters at #20. Lynn gets eliminated by Alex Shelley. Siaki gets hit with the Wave of the Future and goes out of the mix. Final Four: Our final four are Alex Shelly, Chris Sabin, Spanky, and Kazarian. Sabin is first to go and Spanky gets double teamed by Shelly and Kazarian. Heel miscommunication and Kazarian gets put out. The referee enters the ring. ------Finals of the X-Division Gauntlet----- Alex Shelley is up against Spanky. Quick roll up sequence and Shell Shock is blocked. Sliced Bread #2 is blocked and Shelely rolls up Spanky using the ropes and Shelley wins the gauntlet. (MR: 44.5%, 78.4%, 61.8%) Petey Williams gives an interview where he states that he is the real pheominal one and he will prove it tonight when he beats AJ Styles (68.1%) Johnny B. Badd makes his offical TNA debut as the special surprise guest on in the Pit with Piper. Piper and Badd do an interview with some subtile cheapshots at Sable. Piper calls out his second surprise guest, Ron Killings. Before this goes on too long, the NYC come out. Glenn Gilberti is wondering why Piper didn't ask the NYC to be the guests. Some words are exchanged and we have a tag title match with Johnny B. Badd and Ron Killings vs the NYC (70.1%) Ron Killings and Johnny B. Badd beat the New York Connection when Killings pinned Swinger with the True Conviction in a pretty decent tag team match. Badd played Ricky Morton during the early portion of the match (MR: 63.4%, 68.5%, 72.6%) AJ Styles promises his fans that he shall capture the X Division Title for the fourth time (80.1%) Team Canada beat the 3 Live Kru to retain the NWA TNA Tag Team Titles. This match sucked big time. The ending was greatly appercated when D' Amoure cracked B.G. James with the hockey stick allowing Roode to score an easy pin. (MR: 49.8%, MQ: 64.0%, OR: 52.3%) Raven promised to win the Monster's Ball Match or die trying (85.7%) A video detailing the events leading up to the Monster's Ball Match is shown (64.3%) In the No DQ, Monsters Ball Match: Raven defeated Monty Brown and Abyss when Raven pinned Abyss with the Raven Effect onto Thumbtacks. (80.8%) AJ Styles battled X-Division Champion Petey Williams to a time limit draw. Petey retains the X-Division title. There was some awkwardness during the middle portion of the match as there was some struggle to fill the time involved. AJ hits the top rope styles clash but the bell rings. the 30 minute time limit expired. After the match Petey beats down AJ Styles, thus insuring that this feud will continue. (MR: 58.8%, MQ: 80.0%, OR: 42.5%) Jeff Jarrett vows to retain the belt tonight and says that his buddy Scott will help him win (78.4%) Video package detailing the events for AMW and Triple X (60.3%) America's Most Wanted defeated Triple X in a Last Team Standing Match after putting Daniels through the table with the Death Sentence. A bit dissapointing but it is hard to match the past matches because of injuries and whatnot. All four men were bleeding after the match. (MR: 57.3%, MQ: 76.2%, OV: 65.1%) Main Event video package airs once more (77.0%) NWA TNA World Champion Jeff Jarrett defeated Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match to retain the belt. These two put on a pretty good match, a shocker to be sure. The ending came when the Outsiders entered the ring(having coming to ringside at different points) and attacked the people that they were opposing. Then they crossed the ring and attacked their supposed allies. Jack Knife to Jeff Hardy and Outsiders Edge to Jarrett. The Outsiders stand in the ring and Hall climbs the ladder and drops the TNA belt in between the two fallen bodies. A crawling race but Jarrett manages to get to the belt first and he is awarded the match. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2004 I'm guessing you meant "tag team" match and not "tag title" match between Killings/Badd and NYC. Unless you plan on bringing the U.S. Tag Team Titles back...THEN I'd read this consistently!

Psychosis nearly won with his Flying Legdrop at one point (MR: 60.2%, MQ: 78.4%, OR: 68.6%) Impact Proper: Jeff Jarrett is out and is not too happy despite winning at Victory Road. He says that the Outsiders will pay for beating him up. When you step on Planet Jarrett, you are under his control. Raven sneeks into the ring of all this and jumps Jarrett before laying him out with the Raven Effect. Raven says this isn't Planet Jarrett anymore, this is the Terrordome. Raven hit a Second Raven Effect before picking up the NWA World Heavyweight Title Belt and walking off with it. (80.6%) Abyss pinned Jerelle Clark with not one, but TWO Black Hole Slams. Clark bumped around like a pinball for the bigger man. Leave it to TNA to have a rematch from one of the biggest matches on the PPV 5 days later. Styles hits the Style Clash with 15 seconds to go but Scott D' Amoure grabs his ankle and AJ only gets free long enough to get a two count before the time runs out. Dusty Rhodes is out and he declares that since they drew, he would have to take it over to the judge(Larry Zbyzko this week) so AJ could still win by decision. Larry informs us that it was " too close to call" but as a result of D' Amoure's interference, he is awarding the match to Styles. Styles gets the X-Division Title Shot on the 5th of December.
